America has a higher child poverty rate than virtually all of her industrial peers, but that is rarely addressed in the pro-life agenda or the Republican party that gives it such political heft.
The so-called protectors of life also rarely notice that the U.S. states with restrictive abortion bans
score poorly on most metrics that measure the quality of life for families and children, such as maternal morbidity, infant mortality, premature birth, access to health care, day care, food, and housing.
Now it stands to reason that the Supreme Court’s pending restrictions on abortion will result in more babies, so we’ll leave it to Republican economist
