IQ, or "intelligence quotient" is the mental equivalent of horsepower but emotional and intellectual maturity is the equivalent of "traction" and without sufficient traction all the horsepower in the world isn't going to get you down the road.

I've known two or three very high IQ persons who never got beyond being a delivery driver or short order cook because they couldn't function in society.
Both died at a young age too, in their early forties, due to drug overdose.

Totally off topic. But I suppose I'm a terrible person when you leave out the facts of my mention of taking in a feral kitten in need, looking out for and trying to rehome others of litter, taking in a shelter dog lost last year and planning on taking in another in near future after our elder Yorkie passes.

Of course pups of certain breeds from a breeder don't deserve a home because you had to pay for them. Guess those ones should just be put down...

Whether from a breeder or from a shelter, they all need a home. I'll be sure to post a picture of our 'rescue' in the not to distant future to try and redeem myself from my terrible ways. Good day.

Intelligence doesn't guarantee that a person is not susceptible to brainwashing. It just makes it harder.

Your reply actually shows that you are with low IQ. fictions are without witnesses. Histories are about claims from eyewitness accounts examined by a historian or historians and finally authenticated by an authority (usually a government in the secular world).

The tests for IQ generally tell us how good one is at doing those little logic puzzles they use to test for IQ.
