We agree on almost every issue my friend but we part company on this one.........One of the biggest joys a sailor has when he comes back off of Liberty is relaying his sexual exploits from the previous night whether they be true or not....;)

Well... nobody has yet provided me with a solid reason other than homophobia and "comfortable showering" why we are putting older less physical folks and dumber folks in uniform.

Let me ask you, why else would so many "Senior Petty Officers" quit the job they love, quit serving this great nation because of gays in the military?

Can you name one legitimate reason other than homophobia?

I don't remember anyone mentioning loving their jobs I guess you just put that in.......


They would quit because they are people of principles and some things are worth standing up for............

Sorry I did not mean to my friend......I am willing to compromise on the issue though.......If I can bunk aboard ship, shower, change clothes with women I would look very favorably with gays serving openly........

So far, uncomfortable moments in open showers and homophobia are just about it.

Many people have given their objections in this thread as to why gays should not be allowed to serve openly...........

Do you think if you just keep asking them to repeat them over and over again that you will win the debate? It doesn't work that way........

Unfortunately, it works for the libs. No matter how many times their lame arguments are disproved, they continue shouting them. Note the continuing cries "Bush is a fascist!".

Who came up with that policy? Reagan.

Clinton wanted to let gays serve openly in the military a bipartisan group led by Republican John Warner and Democrat Sam Nunn worked out a compromise which was DADT.....Reagan had nothing to do with it.....

Until you can come up with something substantial which proves that other than comfortable showering, or that dumbassed "fair sexual showering" bullshit, or homohpobia. Why NP? Why other than homophobia are so many people against gays in the military.

Prove yourself.
