Why was Martin considered as SUSPICIOUS by Zimmerman?

Well I don't know if there's enough evidence of that. Just because that silly attention whore friend of his said it, doesn't prove he reacted on it.

She actually did confirm that Martin didn't want Zimmerman to follow him home because he his little brother was there. Martin perceived Zimmerman as a homosexual and a sexual predator. That's why Martin went back to confront Zimmerman. Watch the Jeantel interview with Morgan. You can even see people in the audience react to these revelations.

I think what is important here is, 6 persons determined there was insufficient evidence to justify convicting Zimmerman of a crime.

He was guilty of questionable judgement in allowing himself to get close enough for Martin to attack him, but questionable judgement is not a crime.

This just in, there was a bank robbery last night in my town. Anyone care to guess what the robber was wearing?

as usual..... a hoodie

:lamo :lamo

Teens walk everywhere and sometimes get caught in the rain.. They also wear hoodies in the cooler months and talk on cellphones.

They also feel they are "disrespected" if someone looks at them, so they think the proper action, because they need to prove they are tough, is to go give "creepy ass crackas" a good "whupped ass".

I wonder if now they'll think twice about such action.

I haven't run into that problem..

The entire sad episode of Zimmerman killing Martin began with Zimmerman making a judgement that Martin was suspicious. And he was so seriously suspicious that he even called it in to the local police.

So a simple question: what was Martin doing that warranted him to be judged as suspicious meriting a phone call to report him to the local police?

Perhaps the conversation between Zimmerman and the Sanford police dispatcher can be of help here:

Dispatcher

Sanford Police Department.

Zimmerman

Hey we've had some break-ins in my neighborhood, and there's a real suspicious guy, uh, it's Retreat View Circle, um, the best address I can give you is 111 Retreat View Circle. This guy looks like he's up to no good, or he's on drugs or something. It's raining and he's just walking around, looking about.

Dispatcher

OK, and this guy is he white, black, or hispanic?

Zimmerman

He looks black.

Dispatcher

Did you see what he was wearing?

Zimmerman

Yeah. A dark hoodie, like a grey hoodie, and either jeans or sweatpants and white tennis shoes. He's here now, he was just staring.

Dispatcher

OK, he's just walking around the area…

Zimmerman

looking at all the houses.

1. that is a lie. it was 0.8 miles to the 7-11. at an average pace it would take 12 minutes. from the time Trayvon left the store until Zimmerman saw him (and he wasn't at home, so the distance was even shorter) was 47 minutes. there has been no explanation as to what Trayvon was doing for all of those extra 35 minutes. phone records showed he was talking to DeeDee for ~16 minutes. even assuming he was standing still the entire time he was on the phone, that still leaves 19 minutes unaccounted for.

2. it would have taken Trayvon 34 seconds to walk from the T to Brandy Green's crib. he had 4 minutes when he was out of Zimmerman's sight. He could have walked "home" and back to the T nearly 4 times but instead chose to stop and wait in the dark for Zimmerman

Be careful here. The 'T-Boners' do not like it when people post common sense. It 'disturbs' them and then they put up all sorts of nonsense.
T was full of rampant HPD and hormones from phone-******* Dee Dee all day and he needed a 'release'. Maybe that's what he was getting up to in the bushes. T figured George for a 'tub of lard' gay. Both of those assumptions enforced his opinion that he could beat the **** out of George.

"T get dead now?"
Anyway, as Sharon has posted "it's time to move on"..........just like she has done right? I think that's the smartest thing you've ever posted. Gold Star!

Sharon, that doesn't change anything, it's irrelevant. This doesn't refute the fact that to some people, even to most people, certain instances of it may be suspicious.

Leaving a package unattended in an airport is suspicious, and people do it all the time. Does the fact that people do it all the time necessitate that it NOT be suspicious? Of course it doesn't, so why would you imply that with your response?

IMO you, and most of those I see posting anti-Zimmerman, need to separate your emotions/torch-bearing mentality for a moment and understand that you can disagree with GZ, you can dislike him, his actions, think he acted irresponsibly, etc. But also understand it was not criminal negligence, nor criminal intent. And that the criminal action in this case was TM assaulting GZ physically to the point that beyond a reasonable doubt a jury believed (and most anyone if the facts are to be believed) that GZ had the right to defend himself with his legally carried firearm, likely carried specifically for the purpose of self defense.

That you believe it's a tragic situation, etc., understandable. That you think it was criminal and requires the law to punish GZ, that's the issue.
