AOC is pulling the majority of the Democrat party of the extremist left, hopefully all the way to 'left out'.
The rest of the Democrats are following through some sense of herd mentality or 'because if you can't beat'em, join'em'.

Quite well known that the Obama administration was a disaster for Democrats and the number of seats they held in state legislatures.
If AOC and the rest of the Democrat politicians continue on their continued leftist extremist drift, may very well see that repeated.

Why do people keep saying the right fears her? I know of almost no one on the right that fears her. So far as I'm tracking, most of them are like and love her. We want her to be the poster girl for the Democrat party. She's not smart, says the most ridiculous things, and is much further left than mainstream America.

I hope she keeps in the spotlight.

If anything, I think establishment Dems are more scared of her because they know this. They're trying to keep her in check.
