I always thought it was 100?

Isn't it possible that it was 100 once upon a time?
Maybe 95 indicates that human intelligence is on the wane in recent years.
That wouldn't surprise me in the least...we forgot how to merge on freeways, we can't seem to figure out how to film with our sophisticated widescreen phone cameras (vertical video) and we fall for honey traps like social media which trick us into suspending our formerly common gift of critical thinking, and we've devolved into warring tribes that think opinion or belief is the same as fact.
Yeah, it's safe to say that we're a good deal dumber than we used to be.

Idiocracy is now a documentary, even the writers say it is, and they are shocked at how quickly it happened!

Interesting reading on the topic, but it seems to claim that overall intelligence test scores are going up. Curmudgeons will disagree.

It's only a question of time before we see a movie called "Ass" consisting of ninety minutes of nothing but a picture of an ass, and somehow I don't think the audience for that kind of fare is big on taking intelligence tests.

Its interesting to note IQ tests are updated and changed several times. Its a wonder why people think this test gives anything substantive in regards to inheritable traits.

That's a good point, I did not think about it in terms of inheritable traits versus updating the averages.

That's a very obvious incompatibility.

Pretty much, the original was meant to identify people who have learning disabilities or cognitive disabilities. Eugenecists just ran with work that wasnt theirs to further their goals of extermination.

Just remember one thing, of all the people you might know, half of them are DUMBER than the average!
That means you may very well know more than a few people with an IQ under 80, same with me, I too might know some people with an IQ under 80.
I also happen to know a guy with an IQ over 150, and I sometimes have to remind him that some of what he talks about might as well be Ancient Sanskrit.
He's a decent guy but he regards Riemannian Manifolds as just something everybody dabbles with.
I scored pretty high once upon a time and I feel stupid next to him.

It dropped 5 points over the last few years from crooked donnie trumps tweets.
Nah...it started when you have an entire group of people who are so ****ing stupid they don't even know what a man or woman is anymore, dragging the overall stats down.

As AOC said, it's more important for leftists to feel morally correct instead of technically correct.

That's not how IQ distributions work. It's not points on a graph; it's a gaussian probability distribution
