Why did Democrats vote against Tim Scott's Police Reform Bill this past summer?
"We saw how seriously congressional Democrats were taking police reform when Sen. Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill.), the second-ranking Democratic leader, dismissed legislation introduced by Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) as a “token, half-hearted approach.” For Durbin to question the seriousness and sincerity of Scott — a black man who has personally experienced police discrimination
Republicans are just hoping that they can use their one token black man(who was appointed to the Senate and never had to face a Republican Primary) to make themselves seem like they care without actually doing something at all.
If Tim Scott actually knew anything about police discrimination he wouldn't be a member of the Republican Party.
If Trump thinks US healthcare should exist, why does he oppose improvements Democrats have proposed to Obamacare? Don't lives matter?
The old, "if you support an issue, you should be for any proposals for the issue" argument is ****ing idiotic.

Are you threatened by conservative men of color?
Trump’s approval with black voters BTW went up 60% during the RNC, per Morning Consult.
Black Americans will be fleeing the Democratic Party more and more, several recent converts spoke at the RNC, including Vernon Jones.
If Democrats truly cared about black Americans and police reform, they wouldn’t have tabled that Bill.
If Scott’s Bill has passed in July, perhaps the incident in Kenosha wouldn’t have happened.
But it was more important to make sure Republicans didn’t get credit for police reform.

If someone truly supports an issue, any advancement or improvement would probably be welcome regardless of who proposed it. Currently, though, there are very few (if any) politicians on either side that are interested more in addressing issue than being perceived as the winner or being on the winning side.
The republican party is blatantly racist and doesn't give two ****s about police brutality as long as it only impacts minorities. What is this connection you are making between police brutality and Republicans?
Black people don't live in Republican districts. There's nobody for the police to discriminate against. How many incidents of police discrimination have we had in Republican districts? Vs. Democratic districts?
Republican mayors ensure their police officers aren’t racist. Apparently, Democratic mayors don’t care.

They didnt just vote against a piece of legislation. They voted against further discussion of legislation, even though the proponent promised to support democrat amendments to make it a document everyone could agree too. They don't WANT progress and its for purely political gains. And the idiot leftists that support their vote cant even articulate a thought on WHY it was voted against other than mumble idiotic leftist bull**** that literally has nothing to do with the proposed legislation or why it wasnt a good bill.
But then lets be honest. The only legislation the rat party, lifted up by their idiot leftist supporters, seem to pass shows that their 'support' of black Americans involves renaming post offices and streets after civil rights leaders.
Your gonna need a source for that phat one.
Oh, boy...with Reuben that is always an occasion for some hilarity in the slapstick genre.
He didn't include enough loony left wishes, and they can't give GOP any credit. Pure political bull****.Why did Democrats vote against Tim Scott's Police Reform Bill this past summer?

Scott said of Durbin’s comment, “to call this a token process hurts my soul.” (Durbin later apologized to Scott.)"
What Democrats should be apologizing for was their shameful vote on the Senate floor Wednesday to kill Scott’s legislation — and with it any chance of passing police reform this year.

Umm... no, Republican mayors don't get elected in cities with a heavily African American population.
What’s hilarious lol is your inability to quote me directly and debate like a man.
Show some self confidence, and debate the subject matter.
If Dems hadn’t blocked Scott’s Bill, Blake might be alive today.
How many of these police discrimination incidents have happened with police departments under the supervision of Republican mayors?
Kenosha, Democratic mayor.
Minneapolis, Democratic mayor.
Atlanta, Democratic mayor.
Baltimore, Democratic mayor.
There was an incident in Tulsa during the Obama Administration, before Trump took office.
