Why are so many cops antivaxxers?

We all know cops tend to be more "notice me" people rather than rocket scientists but to lag behind in vaccinations as they do? What's with that?

What about their whole macho fraternity crap about being the protector of sociaty? Why are they out there spreading COVID?
Anyone have any insight into the ignorant antivaxxer stance that is so prevalent in their ranks?
 
Give tough guys a chance to cry and stand back. You'll see who the real tough guys are real quick. They're the ones not crying and not claiming victim status.

Let's be honest about this.....unions are pretty well known for not liking be told what to do by management. They feel strongly these things should be negotiated and they balk at directives. This is nothing new and I find it hugely hypocritical when people who rarely side with a union do so when it fits their agenda.

The Chicago police union is threatening to strike over the mayors vaccine mandate.

On the other hand, I generally side with private unions. Unions for public workers should be illegal.

I too am sympathetic to private unions and anti public service unions. My point was that most on the right are seriously anti union until it serves their purpose.
 
Probably because they are only macho when they hold a gun in their hand. Maybe if we tell them they can hold their gun while getting those two jabs in the arm?
 
Because the majority belong to the party against America. Only libs fight the war on Covid. Republicans fight us, and help Covid. Makes perfect sense, not. Nothing they do makes any sense. They stand with the orange man.
And we wonder why black people have a problem with the police.......hm.........do we really wonder? I think we already know why.

Well, most are relatively young and in pretty good health. We know from the data that the overwhelming numbers of deaths are from those over 80, and that's not cops. So I suspect they are exercising their right to choice.

Their right to choose and carry covid can kill others. Does that fall under the heading of to serve and protect?
