Which state are you from?

The Commenwealth of Massachusetts born and raised

Though I now work overseas in the Middle Eaat
 
Mother was from East Prussia - now Kaliningrad Oblast. She was living in Berlin when she became pregnant with me, but then flew here to the states, and I was born in NY, NY.

Back in our days driving cross country we would comment on how flat the land was in OK. I would joke you could roll a bowling ball across the state

No need to "roll" the bowling ball. Simply set the bowling ball on the flat ground, and the wind will come a sweeping down the plains and sweep it across the state with the tumbleweeds..

I was born and raised in rural Upstate New York, I spent six years in the Navy stationed in Guam and Italy, lived nearly 40 years in Connecticut, and now retired back in Upsate New York
 
Grew up in Ada. Spent a 'lot' of time on Lake Texoma, and still own a place near Bridgeview, if you're familiar with that area.

I am very familiar with Ada. My mom went to college there. We lived for a short time in Roff. Most of my extended family on my father's side live in Marlow.

I know Texoma. Although I have not been there in a long time.
