When its too late for an abortion

I do not know of any pro-choice individual that believes what Gosnell did was legal or OK in the leastl The prochoicers I know applauded the conviction.

Now perhaps you can find a prochoicer that believes it is ok....but you won't find many and you will find that prochoicers will be quick to say "stay off my side"

Your words say that you believe women are choosing to electively abortion viable fetuses.

You are exceedingly uninformed. No women are doing that in the US.

It feeds your self-righteous outrage, which you choose to indulge in, believing you hold some moral High Ground here.

The ONLY abortions happening even close to viability are medically necessary. A painful decision that a woman or couple makes with their Dr, the joy of a new family member joining them now turned into a tragedy. So you think it would be better to get the govt involved eh? Coming in and questioning them and the Dr? Intruding, investigating? Is that what this grieving woman or couple deserve? To be harrassed by the govt who doubt the validity of their decision?

Yes? No? Well just remember, if any such useless, feel-good laws are ever enforced, the only people that are punished are the people suffering a grievous loss. Remember that as you roll down the slopes from your moral High Ground.

I am willing to bet that you are unaware even after watching the Gosnell movie that he was NOT trained to perform any abortions past 21 weeks. He did not perform proper abortions after 20 weeks. He induced labor and murdered the babies after they were born.


In fact there are only 4 clinic doctors in the United States who perform clinic abortions past 21 weeks.
Those doctors only perform them for extreme medial reasons. In fact 80 percent of abortions past 21 weeks are for catastrophic deformities to fetus including those incompatible with life.

In 2013, there were four doctors in the country who performed abortions after the 20th week of pregnancy, according to Slate. (Current numbers could be even lower.)

Dr. Gunter supplied a few facts of her own. Only 1.3 percent of abortions happen at, or after, 21 weeks, she said, and 80 percent of those are the results of catastrophic defects with the fetus. Dr. Gunter continued with a powerful explanation of why women generally seek out procedures like a late-term abortion.

Sometimes it can take weeks or even longer to fully understand what is going on with the fetus. Some patients might think they can make it to term and then at 34 weeks cave and ask to be delivered because they just can’t bear one more person asking them about their baby. Do they just smile and walk away or say, 'Well, actually, my baby has no brain and will die at birth?' Some women go to term and others can’t. To judge these women for requesting an early delivery is cruel on so many levels.

Did you somehow think that women are unaware that the unborn inside them is their offspring? And that abortion kills it?

Is it your view that, unlike other animals, it's wrong for human females to do so if it is in the interests of their own futures and that of their dependents current and future?

I'm sure most ALL normally thinking women realize they are killing their offspring. That's the tragedy of abortion. That's why many women never get over an abortion. I think at some level most women desperately want to keep their babies.

Where in the animal kingdom do mothers kill their own offspring "in the interests of their own futures and that of their dependents current and future?' That is almost unknown, definitely not common practice. In the animal kingdom, it is commonly the male who kills and/or devours the offspring. The maternal urge is overwhelmingly dominant in nature. It is only perverted and subverted in our species by the actions and policies of some humans.

The bold is untrue. We just posted a link that shows that's false.

Life is full of very difficult decisions. That doesnt make those decisions wrong.

And yes, I'm sure many of those wome would like to give birth...that just shows you how difficult it would be for them to do so, when they decide they cannot.

In nature, nature always favors the reproducing adult because they have the best chance of survival and are already proven to be able to reproduce.

Infants and juveniles have a much higher mortality rate and so are a much poorer investment by the genetic lottery...nature favors the existing adults that have survived and proven that they can reproduce.
