What Was The Last Movie You Watched and Rate it!

Quantum mania.... soulless, mindless, empty. Mildly entertaining. 4/10

Cinematic garbage 🗑.
The worst movie I have seen my entire life, very possibly.
It has received more awards than any other movie ever released. (Wtf)
It had 11 Academy Award nominations, 7 wins. Again, WTF?

My rating which i thought long and hard about, 0/10.
For those that have seen it, please let me know if you think differently and why.
Thanks
I thought that movie was great, especially with how it played with perspectives.

Horror/comedy
This mixed genre is never high art but on rare occasion it can be entertaining. That is the best one can hope for.
This film staring Aubrey Plaza achieves all this fare can provide. 6/10, recommended.

First, thanks very much for your response. Now:
It played with perspectives? In what way? Differing perspectives always interest me.
It jumped between parallel universes. I saw no perspective play except, not that I'd call it perspective, it taught us the value of kindness. Preachy and not artistically done, again, IMHO.

Amazing movie. 10/10. From the humor to the philosophy, top notch. Perspective changing.

Amazing rating. LOL

Thanks for your opinion.

Can you explain a bit what you mean by perspective changing?

It played with it in two ways.

There was the mom vs daughter and the finite be infinite.

I think the use of the word perspective has us at an impasse.

I saw ordinary conflict between mom and daughter, portraited theatrically and how each decision affects the future and sets a new universe in motion. Neither of these fits the definition of perspective.

Thanks again, I appreciate your time here.

Live action The Little Mermaid, just got home from it.

It was really good. Halle Bailey has such a beautiful voice, so perfect for Ariel and casting Melissa McCarthy for Ursula was a great choice.
Is there a lot of visual action? My daughter is deaf but wants to go see it.

A while back I saw a crazy movie 'Moonfall' about the moon changing course and falling toward earth. Lot of crazy CGI my daughter loves. Suspend your brains and grab some popcorn.

One of the reviews I read (panned the movie) but part of what they panned was all the visual action added into the tail, err, I mean tale.

They thought that it was a failing that the movie was 1 hour and 23 minutes in the animated version but 2 hours and 15 minutes in the live action version.

So that amount of time might be considered.

I think I recently watched that one as well.

I am a fan of CGI and a HUGE fan of CGI done well.
Lot of crazy CGI my daughter loves.
My late wife and I both loved most CGI but it was over the top I thought in the Transformers movie series.
Suspend your brains and grab some popcorn.
Isn't that what movies are all about?

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

The last movie I watched was Atomic Twister.

I'll give it a solid 118, aka the Atomic weight of Osmium, the densest element on the Periodic Table.

I put it on last night as a 'go to sleep movie' but things conspired to keep me away during the entire movie.

I must say there were some gratuitous cleavage shots that I, as a perverted old man, enjoyed, but the obvious implausibility of the plot, and the insanely obvious failures of any particle of the production having any relation to reality in regards a nuclear facility and how they operate, well, I found it to be, not at all refreshing, but it made me feel like an expert on nuclear power plants who had also stayed at a Holiday Inn Express the night before.

Don't remember if it was Friday or Saturday, but I broke down and watched the "Atlas Shrugged" trilogy of movies.

I have never read the book.

I can honestly say having watched the movies I see no reason to risk reading the book.

I want my dead brain cells back!

I can say each movie in the series by itself wasn't as bad as Sharknado, but collectively, well the bad added together was.

I mean, well, it is a politically couched story.

Rather than going any further, I just will say it was not very good story telling times three and stay away from the politics of it.

I will give the trilogy a 1 for each episode for a collective 3 for the entire series.

So there is a lot of beauty in the sea scenes and even when they're on land, but I did think they could have done just a little better with the visuals of Tritan's Court and the final battle, although I do understand it's a lot easier to do animated than live action some things I would picture.

So, what is your rating?

Between the imagery of writer director Reggio and the music of Philip Glass this is most certainly a worthwhile use of 90 of your life's minutes.

7/10

Not good, not terrible.
5/10
I loved the pure escapism aspect, one must release ties to reality with films such as this, also, I still have the super hots for Sandra Bullock, so I was already positively prejudiced upon viewing.

I give it a biased 8/10.

3 points alone for Sandra, 5 points for the rest of the movie.

It was pretty good but I liked the 1st one better, I didn't care for the direction they went in this one.

In the movie it is said in dismay when an idiot rises to national prominence, "It's a white man's world."
Given recent history, it should be updated to say, "It's an orange man's world."

Just avoid this nonsense.

In a weird way this dark caravel of a film works.
To it's credit it was able to avoid the tiresome happy ending.

If you have nothing to do, give it a look see.
I do not recommend it if you don't have good audio.

"Air." My uncle played for Lefty Driesell, at Maryland , along with Howard White, portrayed by Chris Tucker. White is a quality guy .

Flamin' Hot, Disney+, directed by Eva Longoria. Tony Shaloub had a fun, pivotal role as CEO of Frito-Lay.

6.5/10 It was light, feel-good fare. Entertaining but predictable. What kinda freaked me out was the lead's family had 3 kids in the beginning of the movie, and then just 2 thru all the rest. And when I read about the actual real-life story, the family had 3 kids. That kind of dropping the ball is annoying.
