What surge?

What "failings"? I don't consider more than 73% of our population having been fully vaccinated as failing.
Lol. Yes that looks great if you overlook the mountain of dead Brits and the piss poor numbers that rival the worst on the planet

Says the guy posting from a country who did worse during the pandemic than we did.😂
Deaths per 100,000 in the US 184
Deaths per 100,000 in the UK 194

Th numbers dont lie. When it comes to 'exceptional stupidity and stubborn arrogance' your country is still in the lead Congrats!!!

Deaths per 100,000 in the US = 188.690 (100.000% of the US rate)
Deaths per 100,000 in the UK = 189.712 (100.542% of the US rate) - [NO statistical difference from US rate]
Deaths per 100,000 in Canada = 69.755 ( 36.968% of the US rate) - [SIGNIFICANT statistical difference from US rate]

What was it you said about "exceptional stupidity and stubborn arrogance"?

A-1 STATISTICS 21-07-30.webp

PS - When using the "The numbers don't lie." argument, it is generally a good idea to use numbers that are [1] current, and [2] accurate, because, if you don't, someone is likely to come along and make you look like a fool.

PPS - Due to the high likelihood that the US numbers are being "adjusted" (at the state level) in order to make the "Red States" look like they are doing better than they are actually doing (and they are actually doing pretty crappy)

D2a STATISTICS 21-07-30.webp
VACCINATIONS 21-07-30.webp

I consider that the US numbers are one hell of a lot more suspect than the UK numbers are.

Our rate of testing is far greater than theirs. Luckily for you, yours is a small country so the massive Covid failure that is the UK gets hidden. As I pointed out and you ignored (as you have for the last year) the UK has a higher per capita death rate than does the US. Thats a fact. Yet you post here every single day from the UK blasting the US for its handling of Covid. Even today, the Uk has a higher infection rate and death rate than does the US, yet here you are mocking the US for its handling of the virus. You just cant make this stuff up.

"Our rate of testing is far greater than theirs." (IS true)

TESTS PER MILLION 21-07-30.webp
and, since, in your mind, that completely explains why the US has a higher number of deaths than those two countries, it must also completely explain why the Denmark, the UK, and 28 other countries have higher numbers of deaths than the US has.

Now if you want to look at "Deaths per Million" the story is completely different and only 20 other countries have higher Deaths per Million" rates than the US has and only one of them is testing more than the US is.

DEATHS PER MILLION 21-07-30.webp

AND your "the UK has a higher infection rate than the US" is total BS

F4 CASES PER MILLION 21-07-30.webp
But you knew all of that when you posted and were just hoping that no one would point out the falseness of your statements - right?

This is wave 4, and the right wingers still haven't learned anything.

This COULD BE "Wave 4".

The current situation is analogous to someone who catches a slight cold (NOTE - I am NOT saying that COVID-19 and a cold are the same thing, I am making an analogy) and then has to choose between two options:

[1] staying warm and dry while resting and taking sufficient nourishment and appropriate medications;

or

[2] going out into the 34°F rain and exercising to exhaustion over and over while ignoring both food and medical advice.

The members of "Claque Failed Casino Operator" are almost unanimous in thinking that "Option 2" would be the appropriate type of advice to give to someone in that situation. (because they juskno that anyone who "catched newmonya" and dies will instantly be transported to Heaven because they have demonstrated the appropriate degree of loyalty and worship for Donald Trump {BBHN}).

It's a 4th wave. It's already worse than the first two, and the graph is steeper than even the winter wave.

You post BS as usual. The death rate for the Covid epidemic IS higher in the UK than it is in the US
US 185 per 100,000
UK 194 per 100,000

As far as new cases go, in the UK its 41 per 100,000 in the US its 23 per 100,000

The source for these numbers is the NYTimes

Now you can continue to push your anti American BS all you want, but the fact remains that the US has done better during this pandemic than has the UK. Period.

This is wave 4, and the right wingers still haven't learned anything.
Seems blacks and Hispanics havent learned anything either since their vaccine rate trails whites. Got any criticism for them because I just burst your dopey narrative.

Using today's data the death rates are

USA 188.855 per 100,000
UK 189.809 per 100,000

21-07-31 A1 - G8 + CHINA COVID TABLE.webp
The difference between the NYT numbers and the ones that I post is that the NYT includes all of America's colonial possessions and I include none of them.

That you prefer to believe that "citing the data" and "anti American BS" are the same thing, isn't something that I can do anything about.

This is wave 4, and the right wingers still haven't learned anything.

You'd think they would get the whole "exponential growth" idea by now.

Laughable.

Except that is not what my post said. It said that the CDC no longer tracks those who were vaccinated and catch Covid again. You knew this and hurriedly slapped up a link that proved I was right.

98% of hospitalizations and 100% of deaths are unvaccinated.

The data is being collected at the local level and dumped at that point. When you go for a covid test and you get a positive result the next question they ask is whether or not you've been vaccinated for the CDC. If the answer is you haven't been vaccinated they send the data about your case to the CDC. If the answer is you have been vaccinated they dump your results in the trash can. This is not a scientific decision. This is a political one.

All the people dying are unvaccinated. No vaccinated deaths.

You're wasting your time with that individual.

“To argue with a man who has renounced the use and authority of reason, and whose philosophy consists in holding humanity in contempt, is like administering medicine to the dead, or endeavoring to convert an atheist by scripture.” ― Thomas Paine, The American Crisis

Laughable.
You laugh at facts because they destroy your propaganda.

UK covid death rate per 100,000 = 194
US covid death rate per 100,000 = 185

Laugh all you want but the US handled the pandemic better than the UK. Sucks to suck

How many deaths have there been from those who have natural immunity due to having had the virus already?

And America could have handled it so much better without the misinformation that kept so many from getting vaccinated months ago.

The opportunity was there. Politics and stupidity kept us from beating this thing. Now the death toll rises once again.

How many deaths have there been from those who have natural immunity due to having had the virus already?

Why does that matter? All the deaths are from those who don’t have it. Get it. It’s really not that hard.

Great. So if you are vaccinated you have nothing to worry about. So quit whining
