What surge?

How many of those cases are those who were vaccinated and caught Covid again?

Oh, WAIT!! We will never know because the Communist CDC stopped reporting those!

A small minority of the vaxxed will get it, vaccines are not perfect, but your odds of getting it or getting a serious case of it are greatly reduced. If you don't get a vaccine, your chances of catching a bad case go way up, that is what the science says.

How do we know it is a small percentage when the CDC refuses to report that information any longer?

As of June 7th in England, 30% of those who died were double vaccinated

These graphs show that covid cases have been increasing, but deaths have not. So why is there hysteria again? Case counts don't mean much, since cases are often mild or symptomless. The only counts that matter are serious cases and deaths. And you don't see that on these graphs.

Strangely enough, your initial premise (...covid cases have been increasing, but deaths have not...) is a load of crap.

DEATH RATE 7 DAY 21-07-29.JPG

True, the death rate isn't increasing at anything like the rates it increased in July 2020, of November 2020, but it is increasing.

What the death rate is NOT doing is "skyrocketing out of control" as the brain-dead members of "Claque Failed Casino Operator" are chanting.

What the death rate is ALSO NOT doing is increasing at the same proportionate rate as the case rate is increasing. From that datum it is pretty difficult to completely discount the fact that getting vaccinated lowers the severity of the disease even when it doesn't prevent it (as the brain-dead members of "Claque Failed Casino Operator" want you to do).

Is there an increase? Yes there is - to both rates. Is the increase catastrophic like the brain-dead members of "Claque Failed Casino Operator" want you to believe? Not on your life.

PS - You might want to take a look at the slope of the linear trend line. It is negative and that means that the situation (globally) is improving (even if the short-term situation is not).

Nobody wants to close down your economy, which actually grew during the pandemic and continues to do so. Besides which economies recover quickly; just as they did after WW1, the 1918 pandemic, the Wall Street crash and Great Depression and WW2.
Comments?
LOL. You act as if the 1st quarter of 2021 was the only period of the pandemic. The economy tanked last year. What we are seeing now is a recovery from the pandemic shutdowns.

Of course they do-if people comply. Problem is too many of you are wasting your breath whining about 'freedom' and complaining about your 'rights' being 'violated' instead of doing the right thing. America prides itself in something you call 'exceptionalism'. All I see right now is exceptional stupidity and stubborn arrogance-and it's no coincidence that it's conservatives doing the whining.
Says the guy posting from a country who did worse during the pandemic than we did.😂
Deaths per 100,000 in the US 184
Deaths per 100,000 in the UK 194

Th numbers dont lie. When it comes to 'exceptional stupidity and stubborn arrogance' your country is still in the lead Congrats!!!

This is the ONLY reason the CDC would stop tracking cases of people who are vaccinated catching Covid again. They don't want vaccine hesitancy, which would happen if they told the truth. We have now entered Communist China territory with the CDC engaging in propaganda, which is not just what the sheep are told, but more so what they are NOT told. There is no OTHER reason for the CDC to STOP giving this information.

Now, the local left-wingers on this board and elsewhere can keep claiming that 99% of the people hospitalized are unvaccinated when we don't have a clue anymore as to how many people who are vaccinated catch Covid all over again.

The CDC is tracking vaccinated people who catch COVID and are hospitalized and/or die.

Ergo the claim CDC does not track COVID cases is a lie.

Your "reasoning" is as flawed as it is laughable as to the reason why they are tracking vaccinated people who catch COVID and are hospitalized and/or die.

What they're doing is no longer counting the vast majority of cases from people who are vaccinated despite no logical or scientific reason to do so. There is absolutely no value in doing this. We were already tracking cases that didn't require hospitalization or death. We then added the vaccination component when they became available. There's no scientific reason whatsoever to stop collecting this data. Hospitalized and death cases are the most important for the unvaccinated too. So why didn't they stop counting cases from unvaccinated people? The only reason is politics.

I think most people would want more transparency and for our government to collect as much data as they can. I'm curious as to what data or logic you're using to presume that most people want the government to throw covid data in the trash can.

It's pretty clear that it is being done for political reasons because there's no scientific reason to stop tracking how well our vaccines are working on a virus that keeps mutating. There's also no resource issue, we had no problem collecting this data before and cases are a fraction of what they were at its peak.

:ROFLMAO:

So every case results in death? That's misleading.
If you honestly thought that is even in the ballpark of what I said do yourself a favor, go back to sixth grade, and learn basic reading comprehension.

Thanks; now allow me to congratulate mighty America on being Numero Uno in Covid deaths and infections worldwide, narrowly beating India and Brazil into Gold Medal position.

It is really tragic that mask and vaccines are still a political issue.

Everyone knows the truth now. But republican politicians still play on the anti everything covid trump voters. Right wing media still goes for ratings instead of educating their audience.

How can anyone put faith into anything coming from the right?

Seen from outside America all this partisan bickering and taunting looks childish. Tragic, but childish; using a killer disease as a political football instead of getting on with the job of protecting oneself and one's fellow citizens. Unfortunately it appears that the conservative far-right are the major culprits who are clearly anti-everything as far as mitigating the spread of the virus is concerned.

My reading comprehension is just fine. Work on how you use your words when writing if you want to be correctly understood. You said:

Because deaths follow cases genius. You don't die the instant you get covid. Generally, your symptoms get worse and worse and until you're in a hospital where you die of covid related pneumonia-like three to four weeks after you tested positive.
If cases are rising deaths will follow.

So yeah, it's in the ballpark.

Our rate of testing is far greater than theirs. Luckily for you, yours is a small country so the massive Covid failure that is the UK gets hidden. As I pointed out and you ignored (as you have for the last year) the UK has a higher per capita death rate than does the US. Thats a fact. Yet you post here every single day from the UK blasting the US for its handling of Covid. Even today, the Uk has a higher infection rate and death rate than does the US, yet here you are mocking the US for its handling of the virus. You just cant make this stuff up.

And since your country is worse than the US on every metric, what is your excuse?

I don't need an excuse when I see the global joke your country has become-you can thank the idiot Trump for that. Congratulations.

But your country is worse. And rather than address your own failings you attack us. Pretty pathetic.
