Prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, or give the girl's dad a baseball bat and 15 minutes alone with him
I would want to know what was in his blood, because this sounds like drugs.
Meth has bad a big comeback I have heard.
he should face the same misdemeanor & felony charges, and court proceedings as any other non LE civilian would face, and NOT have the opportunity to have his (former) LE union pay his legal bills
If this went down as it was told, he's lucky Paw didn't whip out a shootin' iron and put one thru his messed up brainpan.
Like the Black Plague.
My semi-rural area is swimming in the stuff. Appalling.
Sounds like some weird kind of psychotic episode. The girl's step-dad said he punched the guy in the face a couple times and it had no effect, he cold-cocked him with a steel-toed boot to the head and the guy still struggled when being arrested.
Talk about losing it. And he wasn't held, he was released. If he flips out again there'll be hell to pay.
What should happen to him? Whatever it is, it should last a few years- jail, psyche facility, whatever.

Fvck, got timed out before I could complete the options.
They were;
1.Felony conviction with prison
2.Felony conviction with probation
3.Misdemeanor conviction and jail
4.Misdemeanor conviction with probation
5.No criminal conviction but counseling/community service
6.Acquittal/Dismissal
7.No idea at this point
8.Something else
Should we even bother with a trial?

Title of OP: What should happen to this guy?
Direct quote from OP:
So...if everything I need to know is in the story...then why bother with a trial?
Your quote assumes all the facts needed.
Stuff your smiley face since you didn't laugh at my joke in that other thread and therefore have a clearly sucky sense of humor. :2razz:
hope he is not black they will put him under the jail... but if he is white they will say he has a medical/ mental condition and put him in a hospital...you asked!!!

What should the burden of proof be to insure a conviction?
