What questions would you like answered at the Zimmerman trial? [W:209:368:403]

Trayvon had on white jeans.. George's were dark blue.

Yup.

GZ's pants:

Now wouldn't you expect to see some kind of stain marks from someone who was struggling on his back and butt to get up from such mortally perilous blows in the wet grass and mud?

That another question I want to know. How does someone go through such a brutal takedown and remain so pristine?

The adversaries brought up the pants.. and then turn around and claim its unimportant.

Serino: You hear that voice in the background?

Argghhhh! Yes that's what he said.

Oh.. Then you seem very confused because I agree with you. The transcript that was origianlly suppled by one of the new T' supporters here (and liked by Sharon had him saying:

Serino: You're that voice in the background?

As if Zimmerman was indicating he was not hte voice in the background. You should really try to keep up.

I hadn't seen that image before but it supports the idea that the defendant wasn't on the ground, shimmying around. I think there are several things about his clothes that seem odd.

1. As you point out, there's no muddy stains on the back of these jeans. And in other photos, his jacket also looks totally clean.
2. There's no visible blood on his shirt. For a guy who supposedly had blood on half his face, why isn't there any blood on the front of the t-shirt? I once played basketball with a friend and the ball hit him square in the nose and he started bleeding, and in a few seconds his white shirt had blood everywhere. If Zimmerman had a blood nose and bled profusely, why isn't his clothing showing this?

Your barking up the wrong tree... We already know Martin was on top of Zimmerman.

We also know that both witnesses and police said he had grass all over his back. So, they have to retreat to the conspiracy to killa black child.

wrong again. no one said it was unimportant. just that it is irrelevent at times.

If we are talking about who started the fight...what does it matter what color their pants were?

You mean "who are you gonna believe, me or your lyin' eyes?"

Even if witnesses saw grass, you'd expect grass and mud stains, as well as blood stains, on the clothes in photos taken at the time. If you hear about grass stains, but hi-res photos don't support that, aren't you compelled to question the eyewitnesses, even a little?

exactly. they can't explain it away so they have to create ever more elaborate "conspiracies" to defend their position.

I've even seen trayvon supporters claim that zimmerman had no injuries at the scene and that he did it all to himself after he got to the police station...which would require the witness who saw zimmerman with blood all over the back of his head, the EMTs who filed a report stating they treated him for lacerations and the cops who mentioned his injuries in their report all to be in on the "cover up"

what's more likely?

1. Zimmerman got his injuries from the beating trayvon administered

or

2. the witnesses, cops, EMTs and Zimmerman are all involved in covering up the murder of an innocent black kid

Re: What questions would you like answered at the Zimmerman trial? [W:209]

I would ask Zimmerman if he is a paranoid schizophrenic.

Who's the paranoid? Wasn't it TM who walked over to Zimmerman (by the car) with his accusations?

They did a viewer email Q&A on HLN a couple of nights ago, and one of the questions was "isn't it possible that George inflicted the wounds himself after the shooting". I immediately thought of some of our posters here.

A witness seeing wetness and grass on a back does not equal grass and mud stains. For mud stains you'd actually have to be in mud. For grass stains you have to sheer or crush the grass to release the "juices" (etc.) inside the leaves. Simply rolling around on the ground does not mean you get grass stands. Hi pressure areas (such as knees and elbows) damaging the grass are more likely to take on stains. If's function of force and weight distribution. 200 lbs on spread across a back produces different force then 200 lbs concentrated on just the area of the knees.

What bloods stains on the clothes in the photos taken at the time?

I'm not sure if the hi-res image as a direct link worked, so here it is, in case it didn't:

Could they be any cleaner? Even the white "arrows" on the big butt-cheek pockets are Tide-fresh.

Just because there is grass on his back, that was viewed by multiple individuals, does not mean that the grass has to stay there for the rest of his life. However, luckily for all of us, we can see that grass did stay on his back, so not only do we have the witness statements but we have our own eyes.

According to Zimmerman, Martin never spoke to him while in or near the car. The only communication that occured according to Zimmerman was after Zimmerman had proceeded in the same direction behind the houses.

HLN is pathetically on board for TM. It's a shame that a cable "news" station can't report without such obvious bias. I will be looking to see how Nancy Grace...et al covers this. Haven't looked yet. That late night [10PM EST] show is ridiculous in their support for TM. I tried to watch a couple of times but had to turn off because of their blatant advocacy of GZ guilt. I suppose they determined the ratings are better supporting TM.

I don't watch nancy grace. I only watch the "after dark" show, which has seemed fair. I suspect Sharon will indicate it supports Zimm, but I believe it has been fair to both sides.

Zimmerman was no where near his car.. Trayvon didn't accuse.. he asked why are you following me.

When TM asked why he was being followed, he wasn't attempting a jovial conversation as you try to portray.
That's my recollection. That TM walked up to GZ. And it was by a car GZ was standing(can't remember who's car) .

Neither Zimmerman or Martin was near Zimmerman's truck (Honda Ridgeline parked on Twin Trees Lane) or another car at the point of confrontation, they were behind the buildings on or near a sidewalk, not on a a street.

That TM walked up to GZ.

Conflicting evidence will be presented on that according to Zimmerman's story TM walked up to him. According to Witness #8, if she is allowed to testify as to what Martin said (which is still TBD) she will testify that Martin told her that the unknown man (Zimmerman) was getting closer to him - which would be Zimmerman walking up to Martin.

The jury will then have to weigh and decide which version to believe.
