So, in politics, what Party am I when;

I believe in gun regulation, not confiscation. Though MANY have different interpretations of the 2A, I tend to read it using the primary definitions of the words. Basically, if we regulate, we will never have to confiscate.

I want to stop abortions.

I want to get contraceptives and other birth control in the hands of more people who make bad choices based on emotions and hormones. I was 100% innocent in my teen years, I'm talking about the other people.....lol

I want to stop unnecessary war that has cost us $1.4 Trillion and counting FAST. (only since Iraq) $300-$720 MILLION EVERY DAY. All because of the WMD lie.

I think gay marriage is wrong, but under Constitutional and Bible law I know I can't stop it, I can only stop a Christian priest from marrying them. I won't judge what their decision is, otherwise "I will be judged"

I understand Liberty, and that I am a good person. But also understand that not everyone out there is a good and decent person. And understand that I can't base law on ignorance but should base it on statistics and predictability.

I understand "personal responsibility". But I also notice the rich breed the rich and the poor breed the poor. I think about kids born to bad parents that use drugs and wonder what is going to stop the course their life is headed. If the doped up parent sits them in front of PBS (that costs the same per year as our current wars do per day), will that give then a nudge in education that will break that mold? Will they become a thinker and not a follower?

I dislike a negative budget. Though I do recognize political sabotage and people who will sabotage a budget in order to make their own agenda "correct".

I have been around people who smoked marijuana and judged them. Yet I was sinning too and doubled it up by judging them. They were being nice to me, yet I was being rude to them.

I understand that Federal Government can fix things, I'm not ignorant enough to think it can't. But I also understand that if the F.G. gets those powers, in the future, if we get a President that wants to abuse those powers then he/she might have all the power they need to repeat history.

So what party am I?

*Note that this is a rhetorical question and that I pride myself on changing parties like the wind. The media may change the candidate, but I will always stand by MY beliefs, not a parties beliefs*

But I'm still curious what party you would place me in..

Whatever the hell kinda party you wanna be a part of. That is my honest answer. Labels don't mean a whole lot. What you told me here tells me a lot more about you than telling me you're a Dem or Repub.

The Republican Party is probably your best bet, but it would also depend on what issues specifically get you that gut reaction when you see a political candidate. That can change from election cycle to election cycle and can vary on the level of election it is (city & state, general, etc.)

Anti-Party?

Wonder where I got that notion.

This post was a rhetorical question. It was only made to make people think.

The only fact here is that I have an open mind. I think for myself. I don't repeat what others say unless I agree with it. I WILL NOT submit to a political party and start justifying the bad parts of that party just because I can relate more to it's good features. I have a brain.

I hope to see more people take this stance in the future because too many people today are brainwashed to become ANGRY if others do not agree with them. That's just pathetic nonsense. If you are on the correct side of the argument, you are rarely angry. You are generally smiling while the one wrong is angry.
