Does it exist? Homosexuality is no longer considered a perversion by the majority of society. That is not the main focus, though. What I want to know is this:

What does secular society think of perversion? How is it defined? Are any of the listed perverse?

Incest.
Polygamy.
Beastiality.
Prostitution.
Vore
Necrophilia.
Being an adult baby.
Etc.

*Can't think of other "out there" notions. Please mention any you can think of.

I'm not gonna lie...out of all of those things vore creeps me out the most.

I equate incest with rape generally (although not always, ie brother and sister and of similar age above 16). But would consider it abnormal
Polygamy is considered a perversion, but I dont have an issue with it (provided all involved are consenting adults

Beastility is perverse,

Prositution is not perverse, but generally considered immoral

Vore is not something I have heard of before know, and seems to be rather perverse

Necrophilla is definately perverse

Being an adult baby is just a fetish, one of the more strange ones IMO, but not perverse at the same level as the others

All listed perversions have small advocacy groups. Google it if you doubt that.

Why "secular society"? How exactly are you defining perversion?

Why would Polygamy be perverse? Having more than 1 spouse solves a lot of problems. What is perverse about it?

Every knows the old joke right?

What is the difference between a fetish and perversion?

A fetish is using a feather.

A perversion is using the whole chicken.

Our American society is mostly secular. Or would you say it is not?

I define it by Christian definition, and by secular definition. Mainly, society no longer believes in right, wrong, wisdom, etc. So why not perversion?

I do not know if secular society even recognizes "harmless perversion".

Our government is secular, I am not sure I would consider society secular. Parts of it yes, part of it no. I am not sure why you would want to make the distinction.

I can't speak for others, but I am not religious and I very strongly believe in right, wrong and wisdom.

I do not know if secular society even recognizes "harmless perversion".

Without a definition of perversion and a better explanation of what part of society you are talking about, it's impossible to answer this.

I dont know about harmless perversion but I can tell you this from personal contact experience....the victims of perversion dont consider it harmles....thats why decades after being sexually molested and abused the abusees have issues.
You cant tell me kids having sex with mommy and daddy grow up right...thats why babies born to incestual relationships most always have issues.
I think there should be lines drawn with perversion and my belief is not based on anything religious...its based on the results of it which ive seen

After re reading my post I realized it could give the impression I was abused...I was not. I saw it in my career as a law enforcement officer

Those acts are almost certainly illegal, and are strictly prohibited by society through law.

If the definition of "perversion" is sex acts that harm or victimize another person, I think you would find the vast majority of people in the US opposed to them. Again, this points to the problem of the thread, how do you define perversion.

Anything,...but hetero-sex, is a perversion or deviation of natural sex that procreates. Acceptance of other deviations does not change that definition.

Being eaten can be understood in a couple different ways. :2razz:

But as far as eating as a meal,.

Return of the Living Dead. Think Linnea Quigley in the graveyard talking about how to die.

I define perversion by biblical standards. The Bible and other religions deal with sin and immorality. Countless times secular people state that evil is evil if something is hurt, etc. That anything harmless is not sin. I hear this very often.

OK, so now we know where you get your definition. Now can you please share what that definition is?

What's vore?
There's no wiki article on it.

Vore typically involves the female being eaten, or the male eating the female. This is perversion in regards to Christianity... but it is harmless so why should secular society be bigoted towards them?

I think they may have nerves crossed in their brain. If that makes me a bigot then so be it.
