What is going to be done with the babies?

Absolute nonsense. Until today, nothing has incensed pro-abortion activists more than crisis pregnancy centers, which seek to provide exactly the support you claim we withhold after birth.

But take a look at the list here.

Or here:

I see a whole lot of Catholic/Christian organizations.
All true, but you missed my point, which was that conservative politicians (not churches) tend to have their compassion for children limited to before they are born. After birth, they tend to oppose government programs to help people. That is a separate issue from the commendable work your post cites. A sick joke from the nuclear disarmament movement was that conservatives got on board when they realized that atom bombs kill fetuses.

Just more wild eyed projection. The vast majority of those otherwise aborted babies will live happy and healthy lives.
why do you believe that zygotes that were not wanted to proceed to birth by their mothers will now emerge from the womb only to be raised in warm, nurturing homes?
there is no logic in that forecast

for anyone who agrees all zygotes should grow to become birthed children go to your local department of social services office and just sit down and observe the mothers and their children
recognize how much maternal and paternal love is not being shown in those offices
then recognize these were the unwanted and/or uncared for children of those who could have had an abortion and did not
notice how few staff there are to serve so many families
and this is before we compound the problem by adding more unwanted children on an already overwhelmed, under-staffed, underfunded DSS system

With respect: You don't need to preface every post to me with "with respect." I'll take it respectfully.

I don't know what you mean. The state can't generally force anyone to do anything. They can only punish acts it considers crimes after the fact.
This is the problem.

When there's a biological blueprint for making a baby (zygote/blastocyst/embryo) inside a woman and it implants, unless it falls out (probably 15% of the time), it's going to go on using her body's resources, which will sustain it automatically against her conscious will unless a doctor or she herself stops it from doing that.

If the state says a doctor or she herself stopping it is a crime, the state forcing her to go on being used by the embryo's presence. If she and/or the doctor stop it anyway, they will arrest, convict, and punish them. If they only punish the doctor but demand that she testify against him, they'll say she's committing a crime and punish her if she refuses to do it.

If she stops the embryo from using her body herself, she may not be able to do the job as safely as a doctor. That's the reason why the abortion law repeal/reform movement from 1960-1973 attempted to get the states to make medical abortion legal in the first place: some women risked death to stop their bodies' sustenance of embryos against their will. And that's why the issue went to the SC and got the Roe v Wade decision.

We're talking about the law, which is not about what will happen to a vast majority.

Even if there were only one woman who would prefer death to continued pregnancy, the federal government should allow abortion and protect HER life, because she's a person, as proven by the category women being used in every US Census, and no embryo or fetus has ever had the status of a constitutional person for very good reasons.

They'll be left to starve.

Street urchins are gonna make a big comeback.

Facts :
Unplanned/ unwanted children often end up in our foster care system.

  • Black children are overrepresented in foster care. In 20 states, the percent of the foster care population that is Black is two or more times the percent of the overall child population that is Black .

  • In 2018, 125,422 children in foster care were waiting to be adopted.7 Children under 6 comprised more than 41 percent of all children in foster care and more than 44 percent of all children in foster care waiting to be adopted. Twenty-six percent of children waiting to be adopted entered foster care before they were one year old.

  • Federal law requires children in foster care be placed in the most appropriate family-like settings, but far too often children are inappropriately placed in non-family settings. Nationally, 12 percent of children in foster care are in congregate care such as group homes or institutions;

  • in certain states, up to 28 percent of children are in congregate care.

Out of a population of over 320 million citizens.

that stat is born out in my community, where 40% of the population is black. 90% of the children in department of social services' custody are black

80 day wait to place a child with multiple diagnoses into a facility licensed to care for said child
that demonstrates the current excessive demand on our system
when women have been able to abort their unwanted children
one can only imagine the strain on the child welfare system after the effects of the supreme court decision are experienced

With respect:

In all seriousness:

I'm asking these questions again. What are the plans for dealing with pregnant girls, women, fetuses, and formerly unwanted babies?

Again, seriously, although this probably won't seem serious:

Are the babies going to be raised by religious conservative families? Is the bottom line that religious conservatives are trying to change their voting bloc from a minority to a majority by seizing the fruits of the means of reproduction?
Grow up, vote for Democrats and make the US a third world country, next?

You ever notice that the courts are all over fathers for child support, but it takes a team of lawyers to get visitation rights?
no, i am not aware that all fathers are currently obligated to and are paying child support
got a link showing us this to be true?

I don't need proof for common knowledge in the USA

It was funny in a tragic way to see a few governors whose states enacted trigger laws on the news speaking about how they now need to figure out what to do to support the women and the babies. The same states that have had trigger laws on the books for quite some time are just now beginning to think about the consequences. They have at best 9 months to come up with solutions. Idiots.

Sure the women won't abort the ones they don't want, it's in name only

Oh you really need to provide some data supporting that illusion. If you look for adoption stats, you'll find that more white babies were adopted in 2020 than brown/black/mixed race babies. There are more than 400,000 children awaiting adoption; there are more than 134,000 disabled children awaiting adoption. White, healthy babies have a better chance of being adopted. What system do you use to predict which will live happy, healthy lives?

Minorities will be disadvantaged by anti abortion laws more than whites. I wonder what all those pro lifers who also swallowed the kool-aid about replacement theory feel about all the soon to be born brown/black/mixed race babes.

Makes sense considering blacks make up around 12% of the population.

Sounds like you are very butthurt over the demise of Roe V Wade.
My butt is perfectly fine. Still waiting on your stats showing how many adoptees are living happy healthy lives.

Here you go. How does 85% sound? And this is from a librul source.

They are going to be paying for maternal care as required by law... The impact is NOW.... Any pregnant woman who falls under the income threshold based on family size is entitled to medicaid right now under federal law... States contribute about 50% for the cost of this...

There is a reason why medicaid is the single largest payer for maternity services...

I'm asking these questions again. What are the plans for dealing with pregnant girls, women, fetuses, and formerly unwanted babies?

There is no plan from the Christian Taliban, "pro-life" only means pro-birth and the "sanctity of life" pretty much ends the moment the baby pops out.
