baguettes, cheese, olives, and wine ..... etc ....

I'm afraid the first thing is "revolution" as they sure did it in one mean way. And that head chopping tool - - - so nasty.

Then I agree that culture follows right behind.

BUT then I remember that their language is super tough to learn.

Bread with cheeses after the main entree.

Now that reminds me; isn't their food thingies so small in size? I'd say it has been a super long time since I have been to a French style food eating location, but for some reason I seem to remember that such little dishes of stuff were served.

By the way, somebody wrote French fries; but is that really of French origin? Don't recall ever checking on that name. Guess one would assume it is from there, if the name is attached. But?

Bonjour and au revoir etc ....

When I think of France, I think of how nice it would be if so many Trump hating Americans would move there. 🤪

There's bad stuff as well. Very poor treatment of immigrants - especially Muslims.

Terrorist attacks.

Famous French Bistro dish is Steak Frites.....steak with fried chipped potatoes. "French Fries" is the American attempt to duplicate those I would guess.

I believe they are Belgian in origin, where they're simply known as "Frites"

Steak Tartare. Not for the feint of heart!

I had it once in Paris. It was good but I don't know if I'd do it again.
