Low voter turnout from the Dems due to Content released by Wikileaks.

What caused HRC to lose the election?
I would say voter turnout by Dems? Down 10 M in 2 election cycles. Approx 6 M from 2012
Your thoughts are?
Numbers rounded off
2008- 69.5 million
2012-65.9 million
2016 -59.8 million

The blandness of her campaign is why she lost.

Trump had real momentum, and his supporters were very enthusiastic about him. Hillary didn't have that.

There are several million votes left to be counted, mostly in California and Washington. We don't know actual turnout yet.

True but they will not approach the numbers for this cycle.

Look to the Blue wall, Florida and throw in 4 million Democratic voters.
Her negatives were approx 60 % or so in the early stages, withing the Democratic Party. Throw in Bernie and why??? did he do so well.
I have been saying since the beginning of the primaries, voter anger within both parties.
But all you heard about was angry Republicans.
The Repub number were close to the 2012 election. Down approx 1 M.
Dems down by approx 6 M.

Low voter turnout from dems because only the most rabid partisan muppets wanted her as a candidate.

Dood...when Susan Sarandon thinks you are a piece of ****....you are probably a piece of ****. Liberals were pissed about the Bernie screw job and pissed about having to select...her.

She lost because it's hard to be excited about more of the same. Add to that, how she's managed her business over the last 20 years, and yeah...low voter turn out. Why would anyone wait in line and put forth effort to vote for someone like that?

The next candidate of the highly respected, wonderful, kind, gentle Democrat party will be a socialist.

Oops can I use that word?

I think I can support it if someone chooses to think I am being disrespectful of their cherished political party.

The demographic change with so many foreigners becoming citizens and 40 years of socialist brainwashing in the schools has conditioned the democrat party base to demand government take care of them

Bernie sanders is probably too old to run again

But a younger version of bernie will pick up where he left off

Hillary Clinton is just a bad candidate overall. She lost to a community organizer in 2008, she barely survived a no-name socialistthis time around, and she got her ass kicked by an angry Oompa-Loompa. If this isn't the end of Hillary Clinton's Presidential hopes, then the Democrats are beyond hope.

Maybe they should have gotten off thier lazy asses and voted for Bernie then. Hillary got 3.7 million more vote than Bernie in the primaries

Hillary Clinton better not run again. The DNC needs to stop backing Hillary like she's the Anointed Queen.

Being a sorry excuse for a human being and betraying her country were my top two reasons...

I have a feeling that political parties in the U.S. will be much more willing to listen to the people in their nomination process. At least, that's my theory.

If almost everyone thought Clinton was going to win then maybe some people thought she didn't need their vote and stayed home.

Stay Woke I think because of BLM and Woke movement that a lot of young blacks didn't vote...and that may have caused Clinton to lose Florida and NC.

In Pennysylvania it was the non college educated and blue collar union worker who saw a champion in Trump that they weren't getting from the Democrats. During the jobless economic recovery of the last 8 years...these are the voters that were left behind. Trump saw this as an opportunity and seized on it....whereas the Clinton seemed to ignore them in favor of the more college educated voter....which I guess is the new "elite".

Sure. The voters she needed never showed up. The question is why?

She wasn't exactly ideal and a lot of people saw no reason to jump on her train.

My thoughts: she was mediocre at best, with a promise of more of the same. Not exactly a get out the vote drive that.

GW Bush could motivate voters, same with Obama, and his wife. Both caused a voter to get up, get out and vote.
HRC was severely lacking lacking in this.

It was evident in rally attendance. Yet time and again we were told it didn't matter. Guess it did.

The Russians were behind the WikiLeaks because they have the resources to pull it off. Therefore, the Russians did influence the election.

Ask yourself: Who would be the beneficiaries of these leaks? Certainly not Clinton.

Many voters who voted for Trump did so with their eyes closed and noses pinched. Question: Will there be voter remorse in 100 days?

Did it help that the DNC was colluding with her against him?

Trump lost to Hillary via the popular vote.

But Trump won the right combination of states needed to deliver him to the White House.
