It took her awhile, but she finally admitted this one is about Bob

Dude! I just loved that little hippy chick. Is she hot or what?

Here is a song of her's that has been injected with JP5 jet fuel:

back when I was a kid we had, along with the lovely Joan Baez, real singers like Mary Travers and Grace Slick. Now we have lady Gaga and Katie Perry

No wonder my teenage son likes my music collection better than the crap his friends listen to

I love Grace's harmonies with Paul Kantner on this live recording

That a dude that ugly scored with a babe that gorgeous is a real mind blower. why he didn't have kids with her is a tragedy. what a blending of talent!!!

I dunno. This one might have been called "One Warhead."

If Peter Tosh has ever done a bad song I have never heard it.

He was whacked before I could see him-I was out of town when he played in a town I was living in. one of my friends-a cop said that he got stoned just by being in the venue

My second favorite Starship song, featuring Marty and Grace

Marty Balin's soaring vocals in that wonderful song is on my list of greatest male vocals in Rock

another (at the time) absolutely beautiful lady singer is Judy Dyble, the original vocalist for Fairport convention. At their start they were compared to the Jefferson Airplane Judy was replaced by Sandy Denny, the drummer was killed in a wreck and the incredible Richard Thompson (18 in this video) also left though he often reunites with this band to do the traditional folk music that they became more famous for. I have posted this a while ago but its a gem

Joan Baez and Steve Jobs even had a thing going on, but his favorite artist was Bob Dylan.

Good Shepherd is probably my favorite of the original JA tunes

The stuff Jerry and Paul did in Blows against the Empire (one of the most brilliant peddle steel guitar tunes) is my favorite from Kantner no matter what the band was called

Garcia's guitar work in this is mesmerizing

I must admit that I slept with my girlfriend the first time with this playing!!

She belied the old adage that beauty is only skin deep

I love both of these song as much for the lyrics as anything. It's pure Americana.

The guitar riffs in The End Is Not In Sight are so damned soulful and haunting, you have no choice but to feel it. The lyrics are bang on.

I didn't play this song until the 3rd or 4th time I slept with her. That's premature Starshipulation.

That's George Maharis. He was on Route 66 with Martin Milner. Recorded a few singles too. Later on he posed starkers for some freaky chick mag.

And the winner is.... LuckyDan. :-) And speaking of that show...

she knew this song in and out as well as being incredibly wise as to how her body responded she timed the record perfectly to our climax!

30+ years later we are still dear friends and her husband was in my wedding ( he was the right guy for her)

And then were just some fun songs of the mid-60s with great beats. Such as...

Yeah, right. LOL! two teenagers doing the McNasty the first time and SHE busts a nut too? You da man TD.

She is a special lady-both back then and now

I will close the night with another beauty with a tremendous voice She might be a bit nutty of late but she sure had some pipes

How a bit more mid-60s music with this time being about lovers, muggers, & thieves. LOL!

And the last one for the night is another one of my favorite bands from the good ole days...
