Love Song for a vampire, Annie Lennox

Ani D'Franco, Untouchable Face

Okay, goddamn almighty if I was a lesbian (and a woman) I would chew on her poo-nanny from now till kingdom come. That woman is the pretty and lovable version of 1069. Just sayin. Ya know...puttin it all out there.

Ani D'Franco, 32 Flavors

That woman is everything I wanna be reincarnated as. An angry, beautiful, deep lesbo poet.

Eva Cassidy, Time After Time

The single most beautiful "song bird" of our time.

Jennifer Nettles, The Story of Your Bones

If she had only lived, we would all know her name.

In honor of tonight's DVD release of "The Dark Knight" I popped in the soundtrack. Mostly because I passed by a Best Buy and saw a line out the front door waiting for the store to start selling the DVD at Midnight.

Of course I chanced it and arrived at the neighborhood video store (non chain) at 7:15 PM and did as ordered. I purchased the two disk collectors edition with plastic Bat-Mask, not for me but for my girlfriend. I have my own Burton era mask she enjoys me wearing from time to time. ;)

I scored major points for coming through with the disk without us (he he ME) having to leave the house to line up at God cursed Best Buy at Midnight! Which I told her I won't shop at when we met. Yet here she thought I was gonna violate that dictate! Or maybe not? Either way here is my, er.....our favorite track from the soundtrack. Which was achieved with frakin razor blades on steel strings!
