The original vocal on this track (Dark Side of The Moon) was performed by Clare Torry. Floyd bandmembers had no idea of how to the shape the vocal for this song and asked Torry to improvise. The result is one of the best studio vocal performances ever recorded. This live rendition is from the Pulse Tour.

Except I watched them not "reshape" this song before the Pulse tour with magnificent results in the Astrodome in 1988, on the "Delicate Sound of Thunder" tour...........

It is in fact a very straight forward vocal and frankly I prefer the version from the "Thunder" tour to the later "Pulse" tour. Admittedly because I was there (at the Astrodome) of course. Not the Brandenburg Gate!

Now bear in mind that for whatever reason the "Delicate Sound of Thunder" DVD is not available in the USA. Anyone got a copy?:(

A strange and wonderful psychedelic song performed by the Brothers Johnson. I have the vinyl album  and this track really kicks it on my 1966 400W Grundig Majestic console system. Lyrics provided. Crank it up and enjoy...

Hello, my love
I heard a kiss from you
Red magic satin playing near, too
All through the morning rain I gaze
The sun doesn't shine
Rainbows and waterfalls runnin' through my mind

In the garden, I see
West purple shower bells and tea
Orange birds and river cousins
Dressed in green

Pretty music I hear
So happy and loud
Blue flowers echo
From a cherry cloud

Feel sunshine sparkle pink and blue
Playgrounds will laugh
If you try to ask, "Is it cool?"
"Is it cool?"

If you arrive and don't see me
I'm gonna be with my baby
I'm free flying in her arms
Over the sea!

Stained window yellow candy screen
See speakers of kite
With velvet roses diggin' freedom flight
A present from you
Strawberry letter 22
The music plays I sit in for a few...
