Great new stuff I found tonight while watching Sweden's version of "Dancing with the Stars." Nonono, "Pumping Blood."

This is the ultimate video, in my opinion, on WTF cheesyness of the 80s. And I love it.

This was always good for a laugh too. Stupid haircuts, 80's synthesizer, robotic-sounding voice? Check, check, check. It has all the elements for great 80s cheese. :2razz:

Some Weezer.

Undone

Buddy Holly

I really like this song a lot. I would say this is my fav by Weezer ~ Say It Ain't So

I like this one too. It's kind of nice beat. :) Cute video too.

arguably the coolest thing to ever happen on children's television :

Robert Plant doing an excellent cover of the incomparable late great folk singer Tim Hardin

A little bit of Nordic to get me in the mood for what I will be involved with the next couple of months.

One of the greatest female vocal performances in Pop history

I don't know a lot of her songs, but this one is my favorite of the ones I know. Her voice is just amazing IMO. It's such a shame that she was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.

First up is Wild Nothing, US shoegazing band, the movie that the video is from is called Clown

Second is Sigur Ros, band from Iceland, dont worry if you cant understand the lyrics, they are meant to be gibberish- just go with the flow.

Third act is Geographer, post punk band from San Francisco

These guys were big with some of my friends when I was a graduate student

One of my favorites from Mick and Keith

So what do you guys think of Fiona Apple? She has rather unique and unusual style. I kind of like her. :) Not my favorite artist by any means, but interesting to mix it up.

To Tigger. :2razz:
