You and I must differ on the inherent morality of pedophilia and selling your country down the river for financial gain.Last time I checked I am a registered Republican with center-right beliefs. But yeah, it is easy to pin me as a liberal or a Democrat nowadays.
I agree that Biden is no saint, but re-electing Donald Trump is a new level of moral indecency.
The professor is correct. You can read the full article here. Here are some snippets on key points:
This is a terrific, but sad great read. Quite frankly, I cannot disagree with a single word he wrote. Do you guys think human decency is dead?
Western Kentucky Professor: Trump's victory signals that human decency is no longer an American virtue
Well, DUH!!!
We sane, rational, intelligent, and politically astute folk knew that the first time Trump got elected, Professor.
He was a little slow on the uptake.
You have yet to defend the morality of Trump. The article is about how America doesn't value human decency anymore or perhaps never has. MAGA voters on here kept on trying to make a mouse the same size as an elephant.Of course it’s a conversation about Harris. How can you justify Trump being elected without looking at who he was running against? Trump’s election was less a comment about the morality of America as it was a comparison of two horrible candidates that in normal times wouldn’t be anywhere near a ballot.
Get used to it. The NEW "Normal Times" are here and "horrible" candidates are going to be the norm - from BOTH the "MORE Reactionary Wing of the American Oligarchic Capitalist Party (DBA ‘The Republican Party’)" and the "LESS Reactionary Wing of the American Oligarchic Capitalist Party (DBA ‘The Democratic Party’)".Of course it’s a conversation about Harris. How can you justify Trump being elected without looking at who he was running against? The professor is correct.
My first job ever was helping out at a resale shop. As most kids did, I dutifully went about learning what I could about the store and the items I was trying to sell. One day a lady came in and asked how much this item was. It was a toaster oven and I think the price was like $20. “I know the price so I know enough” is all she said as she walked away. Essentially, this is the American psychee now. If the Democrats ever want to win another election they had better find a way to harness their desire to improve people’s lives...most are happy being miserable as the foks on the right here demonstrate constantly. The larger issue is whether or not we change back into an aspirational nation once Trump leaves office. I’m probably aiming too high. Right now, I’d be happy if we could all agree on 2+2 equallying four.
Well, which party was talking about free college for people? Are you going to argue that college doesn’t improve someone’s life? The problem with your thesis is the ridiculous idea that democrats HAVE any desire to improve people's lives.
Get used to it. The NEW "Normal Times" are here and "horrible" candidates are going to be the norm - from BOTH the "MORE Reactionary Wing of the American Oligarchic Capitalist Party (DBA ‘The Republican Party’)" and the "LESS Reactionary Wing of the American Oligarchic Capitalist Party (DBA ‘The Democratic Party’)".
And, of course, the most important things to consider in the American elections will continue to be "What did his/her next door neighbor's second cousin's former girlfriend's third grade best friend's brother's stepfathers grandfathers do?".
Actually, it must include a conversation about Harris and Democratic party governance. Without the electorate's backlash against progressive dominance there would be no Trump in office the first time or this time. The conversation is about morality, and whether it still matters. That was the point of the article. Trump is a candidate with a history of sexual misconduct, fraud, provoking violence and chaos, lying, and committing slander.
This is not a conversation about Harris. It's a question about how Americans view morality.
I have no idea what you're talking about. Just a friendly reminder for people:You and I must differ on the inherent morality of pedophilia and selling your country down the river for financial gain.
This professor is another example of leftists finding refuge in the halls of academia. You can read the full article here. Here are some snippets on key points:

I was raised to be good and to value others. No way I could support someone like Trump, who is bad and does not value others. People are commodities to him. He is the most anti-social leader ever. You can read the full article here. Here are some snippets on key points:

This professor is just pointing out the obvious. This professor is another example of leftists finding refuge in the halls of academia.
Not really. This professor is just pointing out the obvious.
Which is academia harbors these socialists and communist professors under the guise of education. This professor is just pointing out the obvious.
Leftists? Are all educators "leftists" to you? This professor is another example of leftists finding refuge in the halls of academia.
Opinion noted.Not really.
He's a disgruntled professor in the Department of counseling and student affairs who believes the election should have turned out differently. Like a child he rants and raves about the demise of American civilization as he imagined it ought to be.
Pretty spot on.Finally, prior to the election I bet many readers saw America as a shining city on a hill, as Ronald Reagan so eloquently put it a few years ago. Now we know that’s not the case. We are just as susceptible to being seduced by a corrupt, power-hungry, narcissistic, wannabe dictator as any other third-world country.
Again, congratulations to Trump for exposing the cold, hard truth about who we are. There is no American Exceptionalism; we are not immune from evil, anti-democratic authoritarian leaders with fascist tendencies.
Trump the "earthquake"? No. Trump the convicted fraud, charity thief, and rapist. So, there is his indictment. Between Trump the earthquake and Harris the status quo, what viable alternatives were offered to the electorate? Perhaps the issue is a two tier political structure grown brittle with predictability.
You don't have to tell anyone that you are skeptical of education.Which is academia harbors these socialists and communist professors under the guise of education.
There is no question that Donald Trump has had a coarsening and vulgar effect on American culture. What used to be almost universally considered rude and socially unacceptable behavior and rhetoric is now held up as an ideal to aspire to.The good professor is a drama queen.
My polisci and accounting instructors were not shy about their conservative views. Thinking all educators are "leftists" indicates a lack of...education.You don't have to tell anyone that you are skeptical of education.
And once again, the duly elected President of the United States.Opinion noted.
Pretty spot on.
