And why is it that the government isn't paying closer attention to the employers that aloud these conditions to arise in the first place? I mean, hiring/retaining "illegals"...there ought to be a law...

There weren't that many criminals to begin with, so they started deporting people they actually had files on in order to meet their quotas. Which means mostly non-criminals and those attempting to navigate the insane LEGAL immigration process.

Illegal immigration is a government-manufacturer "crisis" and the deportations are an attempt to "fix" something that's not a problem to begin with. Which suits this administration's MO perfectly because that's literally everything they do. Make matters worse then add gas to the fire when people react.

There is a law, but (like many laws) it lacks adequate enforcement.

What’s needed is an eVerify mandate, coupled with changes to the FIT code, allowing the IRS to act as the primary enforcement mechanism. Once the (W-2 and 1099) employment ‘magnet’ is removed then many (if not most) ‘undocumented’ immigrants would elect to self-deport.

Get the criminals out? Why, that sounds like the Obama/Biden policy: focus on the violent criminals, drug dealers, etc., turn a blind eye to those working, paying taxes, and generally being contributing/assimilating members of American society.

Gotta 'love' all the righties who pretend it's about about law and order. They just hate brown people and harbor fears of no longer being the majority population.

The end game, I suspect, involves leasing the abductees back to their employers at reduced costs, with all liabilities absorbed by the public. Very few boards are going to turn away from that incentive.

I worked with three different groups of workers this past week. All Mexican. All polite, hardworking and punctual. Their boss told me that they are great workers and that white guys won't even apply for the jobs.
