A drink driver who slams into a bus load of kindergarten kiddies with such force that the bus bursts into flames and all the passengers die does not "murder" those passengers, but they sure as heck do kill them.

Someone who sits in their boat and watches someone else drown but does nothing about it because they are too busy fishing does not "murder" that person, but they sure as heck do kill them.
