War Between The US And Canada - Is It Now A Real Possibility?

Even in those circumstances our courts have appointed themselves the sole arbitrator of governance decisions. Congress can not declare war unless a judge gives them approval to go to war.

You do love the propaganda.

Yes. Do you know how certain countries are allowed to afford national health Care because they don't pay for their defense. We just take care of it out of the goodness of our hearts. And when we elect a president that's finally going to push our interests the brats want to turn the table over. Part of me wants to say fine fall to Russia that's your business.
Bullshit. Utter bullshit.
And I won't try to explain it to you. It's very simple and if you don't understand how what you posted here is bullshit I don't have the eloquence to show you why.

You are looking at it wrong. It wouldn’t take eloquence. It’s crayons and perhaps puppets as you would have to dumb it down to three syllables or less. Preferably less.

On the contrary - the US is a Russian ally. That is incompatible with NATO's mission and security.

Allan, i was hoping the war would be oven in just one day if we were really allies with putin. i don't know why we are stringing this thing out so long.

But i do know that Russia gets ALL of eastern Europe, and USA gets all of Canada and Greenland. nato eventually will go away too with the One World Technocracy coming shortly.

Dark Maga canada.webp...we don't need to be anti russian my friend. usa and russia just need a better government than what we have. just give the Orange Monarch a chance. https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffab&q=Dark+Maga+is+technocracy&ia=images&iax=images

Nah, that's not gonna work either. @Grand Mal is never going to be able to compete with the taste of that sweet sweet kool-aid, no matter how much he tries to dumb it down.

More zerocred spam.

You don't understand how it's bullshit all you understand is you desperately want it to be.

I'm not saying anything against Canadians so don't take it personally.

Lol... bud. Claiming victory after someone has decided you don't warrant the time or the effort is not the flex you think it is. :)

Let's just put it this way.

The reason you trade with us is because we're willing to sell our surplus resources at a cheaper price than you can access them for at home. Note the word surplus. As in, more than we need. I'd love to hear what you think Canada needs from America, especially in light of the next paragraph, that we can't get from any number of other places without the pain in the ass factor that defines you folks now.

In terms of our military, it basically exists to facilitate trade and honor long standing alliances. We don't piss people off and we've already got more land and resources than we need, so we're not looking to take anyone else's. The only enemies we collect are those we make when we answer your call - specifically your call. That's it. We are not a warmonger nation, despite having great soldiers. To be honest, there's no real point in us even being in NATO, that's an old old tie back to a threat that has long been dead, over issues that are now all but forgotten. We're just loyal to our friends. There isn't really any other upside for us. Not that that isn't enough.

So, with those two things in mind, maybe you can understand why what you're saying here sounds pretty ridiculous. Normally we'd just laugh at you, but things are a little heated right now, if you haven't noticed.

The one problem you guys face with Trump's approach is that it teaches the world what the world would look like without a stable, reliable America. The reaction might look like caving, I'm sure that's what being adult and reasonable and polite and intelligent looks to maga. But the reality is that the world knows how to handle your little man child president. Placate, stroke his ego, and buy yourself time to make a new plan and find a work around.

The biggest risk Trump exposed you to was teaching the world that America no longer deserves to lead it. Nobody can say today what the ripple effect will look like, it's way too early. Maybe early enough for America to course correct. But I don't see you enjoying the privilege you have going forward, not to what it was pre-Trump, that's over for you, we know better now. Not just Canada, not just Mexico, but every country (including the one solely populated by penguins) that appeared on that dumbass's little sign.

America burns all its bridges if it lays a finger on Canada. Instantly. You will become North Korea. This is why, despite all the cringey attempts to create scary rhetoric, I don't give a lot of bandwidth to worrying about it, regardless of whatever some dumbass zero hedge article has come up with to monetize morons.

Anyway, hope this helps you understand why you're not going to get any traction with Canadians with this shit. If we walk away it's not because we're saying you won anything. It's that we're good with you making a fool of yourself, because we simply know more than you. We're smarter. We are more educated. There is just no need to prove ourselves to you. In fact, keep being wrong, and keep confirming the stereotype. We're already monetizing it, and will find more ways the longer you keep at it. :)

If Canada didn't need anything from the US didn't tariffs wouldn't be a problem.

Arrogance is not really a replacement for Independence. Often a cover for weakness.

Lol... now THAT'S a surrender.

🤭 You would have been better off not responding at all, if that's all you could come back with.

Don't worry, I'm not mad at you for it. I love an easy dub.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, bud. I've already decided that whatever's coming next from you isn't going to be worth waiting around for. Instead I'm heading out to put a few steaks on my new BBQ. It's a Weber that my son and I put together yesterday. He's just 12, it was a big deal for him. Now he's all about BBQing, it's kinda nice really. Kids, amirite? Next thing you know he'll be trying to sneak a sip of my beer.

Bye now :)

You do love the propaganda.
I am simply pointing out that judges have self-appointed themselves as the supreme rulers of the country and how nobody is allowed to do anything without their approval.

I think the author has been smoking the good stuff but who knows?

It makes for good reading on how things could go downhill.

I'm not familiar with Carney but if he's like what is said here, things could go sideways in Canada

=======================================

"For those that think a conflict with Canada sounds ridiculous, I would remind them that times are changing rapidly. What you might think of as the status quo for geopolitics today is over. As globalism breaks apart we are entering the wild west, so saddle up and sack up. There’s no room for normalcy bias anymore.

I predict that within the next two years there will be serious talk of portions of Canada (like Alberta) seceding over to the US as Carney crushes citizens with carbon taxation, increased censorship, continued mass immigration and gun bans. The new Primer Minister will make every effort to make Canada as draconian as Europe.

More progressive parts of Canada will pursue EU membership. And, the idea of war will not sound so crazy anymore. In fact, I suspect it will be a common debate around the average American and Canadian dinner table.

Again, with a globalist ghoul like Mark Carney in control of Canada the chances for heightened tensions are immense and unfortunately a large enough percentage of Canadians are gullible enough to follow his lead thinking they can win. Make no mistake, a war with the globalists is brewing and Canada is currently leaning globalist. This might very well mean a conflagration between Americans and Canadians in the near future."

When you're a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

I am simply pointing out that judges have self-appointed themselves as the supreme rulers of the country and how nobody is allowed to do anything without their approval.
One of them was trying to appoint himself supreme ruler of the entire world. He was trying to order El Salvador must send one of its citizens to the US to get due process in a foreign country.

Nope. Judge rule on Motion’s and suits. They decide what is Constitutional and what is legal. It isn’t the Judges fault that Trump and Company keep breaking laws and violating the Constitution.

It's more than 1. They think they can tell the potus who he can fire from his staff. How me must spend our money. What constitutes an invasion. Who can enjoy lawyer client privilege, who they can help evade arrest, who is allowed to reside here, who gets to have a security clearance, and a whole host of other issues.

Remember the Flores decision where she decided the gov was not aloud to hold illegal minors for more than 12 days. Theres no law that says that. She just decided that it should be a law and declared it to be one. They do things like this on a routine basis.

There is no reason to think a judge can not overrule a congressional declaration of war

Try reading real news then you might make posts serious enough for discussion. Start a thread by sharing with us your political porn stash (ZeroHedge) only serves to make you look foolish. When I read that stuff I am convinced there is no one gullible enough to take it seriously, but you serve to prove me wrong. Sorry, but there is no point in indulging in foolish threads.... try again.

It is a pity that DP changed the rules allowing people to post this smut in the BN thread as if it was serious material. It use to be nice isolated in the quasi-conspiracy thread (non-mainstream media) where only some people with too much time on their hands would indulge in such discussions...

Have more respect for this forum by actually reading and commenting on real news, and it will have more respect for you.....

What gets me is some people think that just any random judge is the supreme dictator of the United States. I don't understand that the executive has powers the judicial branch has powers and the legislative branch have powers.
