That being said. If there's a war between Canada and the U.S., it would happen because Trump somehow rallied his inner circle to allow for one. And it would end in Canada losing. The aftermath would be more territory handed over to the U.S. or even the annexation over much if not all Canada. This is a real possibility. Not trying to instill fear but it could happen.

I wouldn't want ALL of Canada, no siree! However, from what I can see Alberta and Saskatchewan, and perhaps even British Columbia seem to share many of our views on rights and privileges of citizenship under the U.S. Constitution.

The problem as I see it is that they ARE "Canadian" and thus raised on a British colonial constitutional ideology. Let's face it, the English territories don't really have the same rights that Americans have been brought up on.

IMO the Provinces in the West of Canada (Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia) have similar views to perhaps what our founding fathers had prior to leaving the British Empire via the Revolution. But that does not equate to the views of America today.

I would be happy to welcome those three provinces as three new States in the USA should they seek and win Independence from Ottawa. But I would be just as happy with them staying independent and Allies of the USA.
