[W:824] Here we go again....mass shooting in Boulder.

Then why do you make stuff up about motivations that are blatantly false every time there is a mass shooting?
its not blatantly false.

What is believed to be the suspect being ushered away by police.
As one can tell by the snow on the ground and this is Boulder what is he doing in shorts and no shirt?

Have a feeling from this picture this guy is out of his mind. Sad. So far 10 dead and he gets to casually walk to probably medical attention.

I now understand why the chief of police was so weird at the press conference. 10 people gunned down is probably a massacre to him.

makes one wonder how that judge feels tonight.
what law would have made a difference? how many times have you said "nothing can be done"? make up your mind

Are you tired of paying the cost so that tons of d-bags with no self-control can legally drive race cars on our highways, or drive their shit-mobiles to bars which, amazingly, are allowed to have parking lots?

And we as a society have developed a multitude of ways to regulate poor drivers or bars that load people up on booze and send them on their way. We didn't just say "Oh well, shit happens." as bodies piled up.

Driving is safer than it has ever been. You're 30% less likely to die in a car accident than you were 20 years ago. 50% less likely than 30 years ago. A full 90% less likely than someone driving in 1945.

What's weird is that we're armed to the teeth and it hasn't kept this shit from happening.

I am by no means a gun-grabber, but saying that an armed population deters crime is objectively not true.
Society has also made it taboo to walk around with a gun at your hip when your out in public. Most peoples guns at their house or in their car.

With these high casualty mass shootings it is the same story time and time again. A white man armed with an AR-15.

Seriously, look through the last several years of high profile mass shootings and tell me what percentage fit the exact same description.

No it's not. Norway, VA Tech, Binghamton, Luby's, U. of Texas, Washington Navy Yard, Thousand Oaks, Fort Hood.....

And, of course, that doesn't answer the question. All it tells us is that AR15s are popular. It's like noticing that most drunk driving fatalities are caused by people driving vehicles with 4 wheels.

My guess would be he was shot, emts cut off his clothes, then he was cleared for arrest because his injuries were minor. Police escort to the hospital, save an ambulance for a victim.

I think it is not such a stretch to believe mentality illness when someone just mows down 10 people.
Sometimes it's a husband going through a divorce. Other times it's a freedom fighter.

Imagine if there were absolutely no consequences for serving people alcohol until they were absolutely plastered, and then sending them to drive home. People would find that to be crazy.

Yet, what are the consequences for putting a gun in the hands of a man who is disturbed? What happens to those who put personal profit above public safety?

Nothing.

And anyone who tries to change that is called a gun grabber by the right.

10 dead now ?

Any normal country would institute a gun ban, but not the USA

Constitutional rights and all that.

We would want to take away peoples' rights now would we ?

Maybe where you are. Here you can walk around with a gun on your hip if you're rude, or you can have it tucked away under your shirt if you're polite.

Nobody knows who is packing here (safe to assume that everyone is, including the hippies) and it's still violent as hell.

You're also about 50% less likely to be murdered than 30 years ago.

And you're still about 500 times more likely to die in a car accident than in a mass shooting. So apparently all the "ways to regulate" aren't good enough.

I sometimes wonder what our country would be like if our founders had not included the 2nd. They didn't have to. They were just a bunch of guys making it up as they went along.

Yeah, I bet you have no problem taking away the rights other people care about, as long as you get to keep the ones YOU care about.

how about a society where only the criminals and the state have guns?
