[W:824] Here we go again....mass shooting in Boulder.

It is a term that most gun owners don't even practice.
where do you come up with such unadulterated bullshit? there are millions of more guns in private hands now than there were 20 years ago, but the rate of accidental shootings are going DOWN

i know, right?...

You conceded my point. and good job by that judge.

I heard a woman named Sandy Phillips (co-founder of "Survivors United") whose daughter was killed in the Aurora, CO shooting say that they're not on the ground like they normally are after all these mass shootings due to COVID (to help the families).

that's a gut punch.

It is a term that most gun owners don't even practice.

I call BS on this, as I was an Instructor for years as well as having the 4 fundamentals of Firearm Safety listed in my sig for almost 2 years on this site.

Sadly. Even the BIAS media doesnt give the NRA the respect they deserve as THEY ARE THE ONES THE PREACH SAFETY for many classes, events, and sponsorships.

The NRA provides a usually safe and sanction events where SAFETY protocols are highly encouraged. Yet are demonized. I just dont understand that.

Hell, the 2 safest places I would be?

1) Sanction Range where there are many Range safety officers and law abiding gun owners. How many mass shootings occurred or even murders occurred at a gun range.
2) Sanction Firearms Show, How any mass shootings or murders occurred at a firearms show.

I again SAY IT, TEACH everyone the 4 fundamentals of firearm safety, THEY DONT HAVE TO Fire a weapon, Just learn how to safely operate one and understand the safety protocols to NOT hurt someone.

here's a pic of the women i mentioned in a previous post (co-founder of "Survivors Empowered"). her daughter (pictured) was gunned down in Aurora, CO at the movies...

The Chief made it sound as if they were still finding dead bodies, like a grisly Easter egg hunt. I liked the DA's reason better--that they are still notifying families and more will be coming in a couple hours.

At least they let everyone know the suspect is in custody and there is no second shooter, which some sites were beginning to suggest.

I suspect the DA's reply is the most accurate. The store was cleared so unless there was some insane amount of casualties I think every nook and cranny has been gone over. Could very well be a number of employees lost their lives and those families are still be contacted.

Mass shootings in Chicago don’t count. Talking about stupid.
Yeah yeah, because black.
Most of the people who want to ban guns only pretend it is to stop crime. What they really want is for the government to have a monopoly on firepower.
Lots of people who want to ban guns, is there? As in nobody owning any kind of firearms?
Or is that just another dog-whistle like open borders, socialism and white guilt reparations?
See, there's a tendency to hyperbole these days. Rhetoric designed to arouse anger and outrage so there can be no doubt, no blurring of partisan lines. And you indulge in that hyperbolic rhetoric. Anyone who listens to and believes what you write on the subject is unable to consider that plenty of leftists own guns, plenty of liberals value their gun rights.
But hey, feed the beast. Do your imperative. The dimwits are solidly behind you and the others don't matter.

your point of "liberals" celebrating.

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
They were when all that crap was passed. The state is becoming more and more leftwing due to those moving into that state. MagPul, a major maker of AR 15 magazines and furniture, moved out of that state due to the silly gun laws. Its manufacturing operation moved from Colorado to Wyoming and another part moved to Texas. I believe they kept an office there for "support activities"

Of course, the rate is going to go down. Such a silly thing to argue about.

Do you think the nutty gun fanatics care about victims?

Not sure if they have more shootings, but they sure have some who would like nothing more than to rob law abiding gun owners of their second amendment protected rights.

Canadians would never want to do that. They can only worry about their own Constitution and gun laws.

One of my favorite bits of nonsense is the silliness of saying that many who want to ban some types of commonly owned firearms really are not gun banners because they have yet to support banning every single firearm available.

Tell us-if the "REASON" for banning some guns is to "decrease violent crime" and those weapons are only used in say, less than 2% of the murders or robberies" doesn't logic demand that those who want to ban them would also want to ban the type of firearms used in at least 70% of the firearm facilitated murders and violent crimes?

Did gun banners care about the victims when they made that area a gun free zone, guaranteeing none of those attacked could fight back?

it appears the NRA (and you) JUST won a major victory in CO.

now, isn't this like the 6th or 7th mass shooting in CO over the decades? it doesn't appear that the way things were before worked either.

Are we going to get sick of this stuff one of these days and do something about it or just send totts and pears again? The civilized world knows how to deal with this problem.

What do you propose we do about it?

Most of the people who want to ban guns only pretend it is to stop crime. What they really want is for the government to have a monopoly on firepower.
Oh, look who’s here to make up motivations for a side he doesn’t understand.

I replied to this...
"Most of the people who want to ban guns only pretend it is to stop crime. What they really want is for the government to have a monopoly on firepower."
Don't expect me to address your 'some guns' straw man or your personal logical extension of it.

what did I win? I don't live there.

I think we should restrict all ammo to Rubber bullets.
that's really stupid and would violate the constitution. but you already knew that. Drug misuse-legally sold drugs-kills more people than legally owned firearms

Oh, look who’s here to make up motivations for a side he doesn’t understand.
I would bet my last dollar I understand the gun banners' views and motivations far better than you understand the pro gun rights movement and certainly more than you understand gun laws and gun use
