I did not. In fact I believe I made the case that these things are better to "wait and see".
But I do not think it is right to accuse even those who did jump the gun as people who wish for the death of those they disagree with.
I am not talking about people who engage in speculation. I am talking about members of the right-wing who begin spreading lies that any violence against people on the left is being committed by other leftists, or is a direct result of their social degeneracy (i.e. that this assassin must have been a leftist because he was a government appointee under a Democrat, that Pelosi's husband's attacker actually being his gay lover, etc.). Right-wingers who do that just want leftists dead.
As I said that is dangerous and dehumanizing. And some on the right would be doing the same thing were the tables turned.
The political right is doing it constantly and without fail, and is part of the reason I left the political right. It is an ideology built on a foundation of insecurity, grievance, repression and a desire to enact suffering and outright violence against people who have never personally wronged people on the right other than to make them feel small and stupid.
