The chart in the IPCC report is not wrong. It is based on 2020 estimates that the average global temperature during the warmest 200 year period of the HCO, around 6,500 years ago, was around 0.7 °C warmer than the mean for nineteenth century AD, immediately before the Industrial Revolution and 0.3 °C cooler than the average for 2011-2019. Thus the multi century note on the chart.

From your earlier comment it appears that you believe that the more than 1000 contributing scientists to the IPCC report are involved in some giant conspiracy to fool the world for some unknown reason.

Do you realize how silly that sounds! If any one of them were able to provide actual evidence that climate change was a hoax the fossil fuel industry would pay them a reward in the billions of dollars! Of course that does not happen nor do the scientists working for the fossil fuel industry find such evidence. Why? Because your conspiracy theory is just that … a conspiracy theory.

It’s actually quite obvious that if science deniers overwhelm the US that the country will fall behind the rest of the sane world. Unfortunately that seems to be the direction that Trump and many on the right are heading us towards. Hopefully they can be stopped at some point and the country turned around.

A report written by Republicans to support a predetermined goal of smearing the prosecution. Not a finding by an appeals court.

In the actual trial the prosecution has the goal of finding the person guilty, the defense attorney has the goal of finding them innocent. The jury decides. If there is any information in the Republican report that would have convinced the jury that Trump was innocent then shame on the defense attorney.

So Republican's can not state facts about the Law ?..... That's odd.

Did you not read that part were they mentioned how Braggs was trying to prosecute Federal Law ?
Or how the actions being tried were misdemeanors? Did you not understand that this matter was KNOWN and
was not taken up by previous AG's for YEARS, because it was not a winnable case?

This is Weaponization and Lawfare by the DEM's plain and simple!

If I were a juror on a death penalty case, I suspect my bar for "beyond a reasonable doubt" would be pretty damn high. However, before letting the perfect be the enemy of the good, I would consider the odds that the non-executed serial killer might well find a way to increase his string. What is the value you put on the life of the unknown next victim?

Man's inhumanity to man is often astounding. I'm at a loss, with this one. To incinerate a sleeping women, defies all sense of humanity.

To think I used to occasionally nap or doze, when I regularly took public transportation. I suspect many of us have. Imagine dozing one minute, and waking-up ablaze the next. And apparently, the assailant sat on a nearby bench and calmly watched his victim writher and expire. Shocking.

This would be fixed immediately if a bill was passed that required all elected officials to travel by mass transit with the rest of us. The subways and busses would become just as secure as the Capitol became on Jan 7th after the firey but mostly peaceful protest the day before.

I'd ask .... how much was spent housing him in a hotel? Did nobody even know who he was? Alcoholic/Druggie .. where was he getting money for that? What farm did he work on picking veggies in December in NYC ?

I think the truth will be that his hotels were paid for by taxpayers (like the one he murdered) he probably had a cell phone were paid for by taxpayers (like the one he murdered) , debit cards that were paid for by taxpayers (like the one he murdered) , no job, just freeloading off by taxpayers (like the one he murdered)

Republicans can do whatever they want, but it is not a judgement by a court. It is akin to a statement by the prosecution with no defense.

What's you point? This information was all available to the defense to use in court and the jury unanimously found Trump to be guilty.

Note the difference. A cab in NYC accidentally ran over two tourists and six people lifted the van off them.
After Penny is persecuted, crazy sets a homeless woman on fire and another stabs two people and no one interferes. It appears they learned the government wanted to teach them.
