IS IT POSSIBLE that Trump is threatening tariffs on Canada for bullshit reasons like fentanyl because he knows that Canada will retaliate by cutting off all oil and energy to the US, thus giving Trump an excuse to say Canada is committing an act of war, similar to what the Japanese said when Roosevelt cut off oil to Japan prior to Japan bombing Pearl Harbor? By accusing Canada of committing an act of war on the US Trump could then invent an excuse for invading Canada which he could very easily sell to the brainless American people, super-bullshitter that Trump is. Conditions for cessation of hostilities would be Canada agreeing to be annexed as the 51st state.

Agreed. I am glad I did this surgery at 57. Putting it off till 70 or 75 would have been much harder. I had a cervical fusion in 2018 but that was much easier. This was two lumbar procedures spread over two surgical days. But I have a great boss, good insurance, and hope to get home tomorrow. (Fingers crossed).

I think you might be surprised by how many of the % that do move actually do have a noticeable change of life. Wife and I got serious about moving/working offshore in our 30's. Had our first child in Europe. Have spent more time out of the US than in since then. As our connections to the US have faded over time, and through deaths etc, we really have felt an ever decreasing pull to go back. One of the huge changes we went through was life style over money. The US, compared to almost any other place we have lived, hard correlates money with lifestyle, but we've learned that just isn't a necessary reality in other countries. Hard to explain, but there are certainly (imo) better lifestyles to be had. If I was a young person raising children again I think the US would be well behind several other countries as a desirable place to do so. Not for economic reasons, but for social reasons. That's not to say you couldn't find a wonderful place to live somewhere in rural or semi rural America, but finding that place, and finding a good career in the same place, is something that can be hard for most to achieve.

I can't speak highly enough about the Mexican Americans in Texas. I go to a Hispanic dentist. His staff is also mostly Hispanic. Due process would have happened at trial in federal court. The committee can't create an indictment so it can't prosecute anyone. That raises the question of why trump did everything possible to delay his federal trials. He delayed so much I don't believe he was concerned much with due process.

Trump tried > 60 to get in to Federal court to Prove there was a Coup! If they wanted to charge him they just needed to
let him go to court where they could bring all their evidence !
But the Corrupt Judges used "Lack of Standing" to prevent Trump from getting in to Court!
That is insane because Trump said he lost the Presidency because of a Coup, and the DEM's et al said that Trump tried to change a Fair Election(which is Abuse of Power and Treason)! So no matter how you cut it EVERY AMERICAN HAS STANDING, especially Trump !
