And the "bantus" in South Africa were the result of Apartheid.

Under the Bantu Homelands Citizenship Act of 1970, the Government stripped black South Africans of their citizenship, which deprived them of their few remaining political and civil rights in South Africa, and declared them to be citizens of these homelands.

They had NOTHING to do with Russia and/or Marxism.

Are you sure you actually read the post?

I and many others that have lived in Africa want African leaders held accountable for the shocking levels of corruption and crime in Africa today.

Both of the articles I linked to are by Africans.

Your suggestion that they are having a "dig" at themselves is ridiculous.
 
In Namibia, German colonists routinely raped Herero women and often referred to them as “baboons”. They would go to slaughter a MINIMUM of 25,000 Herero in one the 20th centuries’ first genocides.

The corrupt governments aren't picky and the only decision making process involves simply who will make the elites of the nation richer.

You are right, they aren't dumb. Those in power will allow those who are willing to pay the most and help them maintain that power.

The corporations involved aren't going to pay taxes...they wouldn't be there if they did, instead they go the cheap route and bribe those in charge. Depending upon the industry, they may or may not employ locals...but if they do, they won't pay much and if anyone tries to unionize the government will kill them.

And that is why these regimes stay in power; it is the interests of foreign companies to maintain those in power to stay in power to allow them to maximize their profits. Cash buys those regimes armies and equipment to stay in power.

It isn't about cultures...it is about a small group's greed/desire for power and the white-owned corporations willing to take advantage of that greed/desire for power for their own profit.

Just as whites do to each other and other races.

Read up on colonialism in Africa, in particular where Belgian, under their king Leopold made the subjects of their African colonies serfs (literal serfdom) by law and allowed confiscation of almost all goods for the personal wealth of the king. And how their practices wound up killing millions.

Yes, Africans did rape and enslave each other...but they didn't slaughter in the millions for the profit of one person.....

Was Hitler representative of all white people?

Was Idi Amin representative of all black people?

It's not that simple.

I owned businesses in Africa and was taxed at a higher rate than I am here in Australia.

I don't know why you think foreign companies are not taxed. Many African nations, like Botswana, survive on the taxes paid by foreign businesses.

Although I am sure that you are not a racist, why do you blame only "white owned" corporations?

In South Africa, probably Africa's most successful economy, the former President was recently jailed because of bribes from the Gupta family (Indian). All over Africa there are reports of African leaders being bribed by the Chinese.

The problem in Africa is the culture of corruption which is rampant in Africa ONLY because African leaders allow it to be.

If anything Africa is probably where Russia lost most influence post USSR. From having been a big player in African politics during the Cold War, they have only recently came back on the map there, because Russia mercenaries.

I have heard of Russian mercenaries in Mali.

Are they anywhere else in Africa?

I have heard of mercenaries from South Africa and the UK. They are in several African nations.
