So anyone opposing rioting doesn’t deserve to be be American? You’re actually arguing it’s wrong to oppose “extreme means”?

Is this guy a BLM spokesman? That's not what a genuine leader of BLM Had to say. She called looting "Reparations".

And this Black man in Japan is being 'otherized'? Of course he will be. It happens in Japan and many countries no matter what color your skin. I'm a White man who has spent many years in Central America, and some time in Asia, and have always been 'otherized'. He really is showing off his lack of sophistication and, like leftists everywhere, his go to explanation is always 'racism'.

My point is that exactly because of the BLM movement's diversity, there is not a spokesman who can speak on behalf of everybody or even of the majority in the movement. And in Japan the BLM issue is linked to the black-skin Japanese ctizens who are often treated differently from the other Japanese. And yes, there is racism in Japan too! Sophistication is a concept that conservatives usually link to a leftist elite.

You may be thinking of the Koreans, who are not Black. This guy wouldn't have the nerve to speak out for them because he'd lose his victimhood and couldn't hold America responsible.

The Japanese-Korean issue is different

There have been affairs between black Americans and Japanese as a result of the US bases there. And I have even met one of them (she lives now in the US). Here is a more famous case

That's like saying Al Qaeda is a diverse movement, or Trump saying that some racists are good people. Do you agree with that?

You need to first make the case that BLM is lke AQ and you cannot do it by assumig that the person who makes a controversia statement represents the whole movement The case you actually try to make is more similar to the all or most Muslims are terrorists because AQ has extremist Muslims.

Similarily, conservatives were trying to dismiss the 1960's civil rights activism by accussing the participants of extremism and lawlessness based on the actions of some radicals within the movement like the Black Panthers and Malcolm X.

Trump did not say that some terrorists are good people. He aid that some Mexican illegals are good people (like this is soe type of exception t the general rule of the "rapist" Mexican).
 
The problem is the police aren't authorized to go after these people. My nephew is a cop in Denver. His vehicle was rammed from behind by a protester. He was told by dispatch not to pursue. He says that protesters will tell the cops to kill themselves and other horrible things while the cops just stand there and take it. I wouldn't mind seeing BLM get taken down hard. I'm sure many of them have good intentions but clearly they are causing more harm than good. They almost lost the election for Biden. Also, they should be staying home during a pandemic.

Do you know anything about the history of Black Lives Matter? All of the protests were peaceful until this year. If there was any legitimacy in a Faux News report, this would have been reported everywhere over the last four years.
