Ok well, that’s not a very precise definition. But I’ll help you out. You accused me a being a Marxist, which I’m not. I probably have something in common with some of the people you’ve listed here. I’m a Social Democrat. I advocate for the redistribution of wealth through progressive taxation, social services and a welfare state, which I believe creates the best society. Neither Marx nor Engels would have agreed with any of these points and would regard them as Bourgeoisie reformism.

Marxist has a precise definition. You can’t just say American Marxist and then ascribe anything you don’t like to an ideology you invented. Political terms have meanings. But let’s keep going. How do these American Marxists of yours differ from the traditional interpretation of Marxism?

The Poly Sci 101 stuff your college professor (who was very likely a damn communist) taught you is out of date. Just like a Democrat party member of the 1860's was very likely a supporter of slavery. Things change.

I just said you can’t simply invent your own political terminology and use it to indiscriminately condemn people or ideas you don’t like. Fruitful political discussion relies on a shared understanding of basic concepts and definitions. You assured me you knew these political terms “all too well” but you’re demonstrating the opposite.

I think I live in a pretty great country. A couple of young kids who married while still in college, worked hard, and we did achieve the American dream. We give a lot of money to charity, and our kids and grandchildren, and we have more than we could ever spend. Not sure if America being great had a damn thing to do with our work ethic though. America is as great as you want to make it...

Quite an endictment of the modern Republican party.

Try to "drive a stake into the heart of the Republic" Attack the capital, try to overturn an election. Etc.

"Indivisable"....elected Republicans saying it's time for a "National divorce". A civil war.

"Liberty".....not for gay people, Republicans don't want liberty for them.

" justice for all"......but not black people killed by police. ......etc


You all shouldn't be saying the pledge when you don't stand by it's words.
 
So far, this month the USD has lost value 13/18 days, remained the same value 3/18 days and slightly gained back some value 2/18 days.
That wouldn't be so bad if the currency I was comparing it to wasn't also devaluing.

Great Again would be nice, but maybe MAAA (Make America Affordable Again) would be more helpful?

America is still great, we have some issues to fix but we are still the best out there. Proof? Millions still come here and millions are illegally sneaking into the country because it's the best place to be.
