Basically, the Communist system promotes equity rather than equality which removes the incentive to produce.
That's the reason it won't work in the real world.

Yes. In another thread I posted that political ideas have evolved since Marx was alive. The example was that the Democratic party was once pro slavery.
The modern communist believes in equity as the solution to social justice.
