The United States is pressuring European allies to limit references to Ukraine in the final communique coming out of next week's NATO summit, according to several sources, a symbolic move that would signal a decline in support for Kyiv under U.S. President Donald Trump's administration. If the U.S. and other NATO members approve the draft, it would represent a departure from the strong statements of support for Ukraine issued at the end of the NATO summits held under former President Joe Biden after Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022.<

Donald Trump will once again snub Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky – this time at the upcoming NATO summit in The Hague. It follows his early exit from the G7 in Canada, where he walked out before their scheduled meeting and left the Ukrainian delegation “frustrated and empty-handed,” according to Reuters. The Russian economy is "on the brink" of entering a recession, the country's economy minister warned on Thursday. Speaking at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, a major annual business event in Russia, Maxim Reshetnikov said data showed the economy "cooling." When a moderator asked him to describe the state of the economy, he said it seemed that the country was "on the verge of going into recession," according to Russian news agency Interfax. Since the start of the war, Russia has gone all in on defense spending. It's on track to spend about $130 billion on defense, roughly a third of its federal budget, up from 28.3% in 2024. It's also potentially running low on cash, with one Swedish economist predicting that Russia could run out of liquid reserves as soon as this fall.<
Mr. Reshetnikov..... avoid high windows.
