How, exactly, were the US supposed to ”recover“ M4s from Afghanistan? Demand the ANA hand in their weapons when we left?

The point is that US weapons have a tendency to fall into the wrong hands, and did so with ISIS. Given how much more effective Hamas is than ISIS, it’s not surprising Hamas acquired M4s.

You deny that the Russians supported and supplied arms to the Govts. of N. Korea, N. Vietnam, Saddam's regime in Iraq and the rebels in Afghanistan?
