I’ve never been a singular GOAT guy, having first seen Mays and Koufax.
Different eras, decades, now centuries, it’s easy to see and say the beauty of the game.
They all need to clean up their ??

Soto commenting on the clock hurt SD batters and himself with the HP umps, imho.

Not sure about these lineups where stars like Mays, Mantle and Clemente would have batted first and second.

Don't know how serious Soto was being. His overt confidence is Soto's brand along with his stare at pitchers.

Soto has flare(personality). Prefer Ohtani's quiet confidence, but don't mind MLB having heroes and anti heroes. Both are good for interest in the game.

Soto was called out on a low but definite strike.
He started in on the ump, after talking with the ump after foul strike 2.
You may as well lead him off with all his BBs.

Extra Innings has this 3-hour ‘Strike Zone’ where they jump around, and they’re showing some HOU game which is blacked out on Apple

Ah the memories of those two! During Sandy’s prime I was at a shutout he pitched at Candlestick. He allowed four hits, but I thought it wasn’t him at his best cause he walked four. Such were the expectations we had.

Yea it was a ‘nasty’ way to treat Nestor.
Fried gives up 2 ER amidst 5 NYY errors and only gets 14 outs.
Win goes to a reliever instead of the deserving starter Fried.
Doubting folks want to give Fried the win, tho his team was up 16-6 when he was pulled.

Really tough schedule. 7 games on the road at SD and LAD to start the season. MLB did them no favors. But, as a Mets fan....... :ROFLMAO:

I heard the Cubs have been using these bat's
. But they haven't been hitting 50 HR's a game
. I'll hold off my opinion on this when the Yankees get out of the little league park, The new Yankee Stadium,..
