Look at Turtle, he's a regular little chatterbox in this thread.
Ask him to articulate specific points on economics, public policy... good luck getting ten words out of him
I guess next time I try to explain tax policy to him, I should use examples related to 1980s alternative rock crossover bands.
"Bono and the Edge are taxed at 39.9%, but this is a marginal rate..."
My band does a U2 cover. One. That's enough.....
'Nuff said.....
Out of the selected group what is your most liked song from U2!?
EDIT:
DAMMMMMN IT!!!!!!!!!!! I forgot to check the box for a poll!!!!! :doh
I don't really like any U2 song.

Turtle might actually enjoy a thread where every post doesnt degrade into an ideological pissing contest. Shocking.
Interesting, what sort of stuff do you like? U2 probably rates about 10th on my list with LZ, Grateful Dead, the Clash, Who, SteeleyeSpan, AllmanBB, Fairport Convention, Hendrix and REM being also on that list
Mostly industrial/ebm groups like die krupps, einsturzende naubeuten, apoptygma berzerk, icon of coil, etc.

You know...my iPod has stuff from just about every genre and era...and Ive never heard of any of those groups. Might have to hit YouTube...

yeah, but SoundGarden was about the newest thing I listen to. Hate to date myself but I have yet to see anybody that could drum LIke Bonham or play a guitar like Duane or Jimmy or even Mick Jones.

Techno is such a broad term, but when I think of techno, I tend to think of trance. This is more of a subset of house. However, industrial as a form of music has been around at least since the late 60s.
Ive got some music from some German groups that sort of qualify..but yeah...house...as in club but not 'club' music? Yeah...I can see that...
There was bio on Neil Pert the other night it was pretty interesting. At one point after all the success of Rush he was taking lessons from some jazz drummer.
