Barack comes with Michelle. Who wants a Klingon battle-warriror in their neighborhood? As for Barack, if he just stuck to golfing all day, then there'd be no problem but if he resorts to his community organizer role, then he'd be just as bad as having Alec Baldwin as your neighbor.

Barack and Michelle head a nice stable family with intelligent kids and little drama. Alec Baldwin divorced his daughters mom and married a ditzy twenty-something. Baldwin as a neighbor would be a little like living next to Ted Nugent.

Whenever a country is displaced by outsiders, the outsiders take over. This is true whether it is done militarily or simply by squatter's rights. If American's continue to allow outsiders to pour in here we will surely be displaced just as European immigration displaced the Indians.
 
I think Israel should be more tolerant and inclusive. These African immigrants are only "enriching" their country.

Listen to what Barbara Lerner Spectre ("Israeli") says about the demographic changes in Europe. She says it is a good thing. If so, does she support the same "transformation" for Israel? I seriously doubt it.

Good video. The simple fact here is that the Sudanese were not invited, they barged in where they are not wanted.

The UN recognizes the right of self-determination for peoples. The Israelis are not doing anything wrong by wanting a society all to themselves.

Too bad that this right only seems to apply to Israel and not to other Western nations.

And one Won't find it out looking at the youtubes posted by the board's biggest antisemites from BlackNationalist and 'zog.wordpress' websites.

Israel's very Tolerance is being turned on it.
Israel, small as it is, has been humanitarily tolerating an inordinate amount of ILLEGAL Immigration for 7 years now.
In part because it's large, but Muslim neighbor is a Racist Arab country.

and another, who Daily and gratuitously Spams up anti-Jewtubes including DAVID DUKE.
The latter's posts being so obviously and rabidly bigoted, I'm actually glad to have him represent/Discredit his people on this message board for all to see.

These "Black advocates/"human rightsers" are a bit much for me.

I believe Israel will benefit greatly from African immigration. In fact I believe they should tear down those walls and live in peace and harmony with their Palestinian neighbors. The israelis should intermarry with their neighbors and enjoy all of the benefits of diversity. We all know that Apartheid is wrong. The more foreigners that immigrate to israel the more israel will be culturally enriched. Integrate the classrooms and the workplace and the housing and before you know it SHAZAM! Pure multicultural bliss. Just like America.

I thought the land borders were sealed tight lest guerillas and / or terrorists slip in, and that the Israeli navy watches the sea approaches with every kind of hi tech radar and infrared, ulta violet, hydrophone sensors known to mankind. Then factor in that I doubt Israel is generous with student visas, tourist visas, or any kind of visa except for religous pilgrims from developed nations.

How are the migrants getting?

It doesn't say they're necessarily illegal. They could be there within the confines of Israeli law. They could be illegal, but it doesn't say.

And if someone REALLY wanted to get in, they could. No matter how secure your borders are.

I don't think violent riots are the way to go. You could tighten up on immigration, etc, but murderous rampages aren't exactly good. Just a thought.
 
Are we supposed to be surprised that there is racism in Israel? Is the OP a condemnation of Israel (no, not really) or a glorification of racism? As if to say: "look, people who hate blacks are everywhere!!11!!"

Yeah, we know there are racists everywhere. Whoopee! Gratz!

Fortunately, they're becoming less every generation.
 
This is one of the ugliest threads I've read in a while. DP seems to have collected a gathering of racists, bigots and haters. The good news is that when someone opens a thread like this racists and bigots can't wait to add the sh*t to the pile, and in doing so we at least know who they are.

Israel is a remarkably diverse country......you should visit.
 
A handful of Israelis protest and some how the entire country is at fault. Okay I blame you for the destruction in Stoors after the NCAA win on Monday. The police will be around to arrest you all for disorderly conduct since you must all be to blame.

True, the article does not specify their status, but they do use the term "migrant" - the same term used when reporting the smuggling boat disasters off of the Italian islands. To me, this implies that they are illegal.

As far as securing borders, yes if somebody really wants in, they get it. At the same time there seem to be relatively large numbers of people who have gotten in and one would imagine that the Israeli borders would be very difficult to slip through.
 
Israel has had a reputation for settling immigrants from many places that are dealing with unrest. Sudanese are just the latest I think. Many cross the border from EGypt and then seek asylum and it is north of 10,000 people. In a country the size of Israel that is a significant number of new people to settle and adding to the fact that they are from a country considered an enemy of the State of Israel it is a bit of security issue. So that explains the reason for a protest. The problem is that the protest also appear to be bigoted toward people of color which has been a problem in Israel in the past among the right wingers there. Ethiopian Jews settled over 20 years ago still struggle with equality at times even though they are seen by most as Jews (their practice is pre-Rabbinic so some question if they are really Jews in the modern sense which to me is stupid on its fact). But Israel is not a racist country as some would have you believe. Jews live there of all races and in fact you can see many brown skinned Chasidic Jews any time of day in Jerusalem.
