Of course, and he could do that by saying because of these people, he will pay the difference. It is great PR.

Blame? I am not blaming Trump for not raising 6 million as he claimed. He cant force people to pay their pledges. As long as he paid his 1 million he pledged at the event, then there is no blame on Trump.

I am blaming him and his people for how they have handled the situation. Listen, this was a PR nightmare from the start. Stumble after stumble. Delayed payments, secrecy and so on. And then we find out that it was not 6 million but considerably less... and no that is not the fault of Trump that it was less.

But he could have seized the initiative and gotten some great PR by paying the difference and coming out as the wealthy philanthropist that he claims he is. But nooo.. instead he and his people, in the middle of the whole tax papers issue, have been backtracking, blocking and making the situation much worse. All it does is to give fuel to the fire that Trump is not as rich as he claims... after all paying 1 million or 3 million to this charity is tax deductible, and for a guy who claims to be worth 10+ billion.. a drop in the bucket.

So again.. is Trump to blame for there not being 6 million? HELL NO.. but he is to blame for his reaction to the shortfall.

So in essence you're complaining that he isn't using this as a PR event. Talk about non-issues. :roll:

What it means is that VoteVets.Org didn't get their share. They are entirely Leftist.

What it means is that some of those who pledged didn't come through. That happens in ALL fund raising efforts and I speak from extensive experience. I have never once seen the final reality match the pledged tally. Sometimes we got close, sometimes not so much, but there are always a few who have a change of heart or for whatever reason do not honor their pledge.

So the final tally was something like $4.5 million. That's a lot of money.

And the only ones complaining about it are a leftwing group that calls themselves progressive veterans:

If I ever needed a reason for not being a leftist, that kind of thing would sour me completely on the concept.

Currently serving and, in the context of just military members, I have a stronger gag reflex over Hillary than Trump. From the military perspective, Trump seems to be just using us for political points, which really doesn't make him stand out too much than any number of politicians, so it's not unique. From Hillary, I get a vibe the she almost hates those of us that wear the uniform. I get this from the multiple accounts of how she has treated the Secret Service and Benghazi families and such.

Trump claimed to have raised six million dollars for Veteran's Charities. His manager finally admitted that they only raised 4.5 million. That means Trump lied. And of that 4.5 million, only about 3.1 million has been delivered. That means Trump lied.

As for insulting POWs, here you go:

And, yeah, I don't like her and don't want to work for her. As a person, and having a record of supporting the military, I like Bernie a lot more, even though I don't agree with a lot of his politics.
