A verdict is reached and the results are to be read in 15 minutes. I'll post more as the news comes.

I love it. The infighting and the lying within the White House will be exposed. Life is good.
I'm still chuckling over this one:

Hopefully, aps will have the openmindedness to admit she was wrong.
Depends on the verdict. It is no secret that Fitzgerald will try to "flip" Scooter against Cheney in return for a lighter sentence, if he is found guilty.
Libby found guilty on four of five charges in CIA leak case.

Guilty.
Now, we'll see about the rest.
....and GWB will pardon him in the end, so I don't see him flipping on Cheney.
That would be interesting if that really happened though I doubt it would. Libby convicted in a court of law in a trial connected to the white house and receives a Presidential pardon.
I can't wait to hear Stinger and all the other Bush apologists reaction to the verdict. Somehow I expect that they will claim that the jurors are stupid...or something to that effect....they'll have some excuse....just wait and see.
You know, Libby might actually have an out here. The verdicts were reached with 11 jurors, because one of them was dismissed for watching TV news opinion during the trial, and indicated a bias against Libby. If the dismissed juror talked to the others about this, then the verdicts could be thrown out on appeal. This would not be a great thing for Republicans, who then might end up with a repeat of the trial during the 2008 campaign. Although Libby, until the next verdict, would still be considered innocent, Americans would still remember today, and the guilty verdicts, which could compromise the campaigns of a few Republicans.
This is nothing but "gotcha" politics..........I just hope the president pardons him like "Slick Willie" did on his last day in office with Rich and all the scum he pardoned.....It would serve no purpose to send this man to jail........
1) Yea, a clothcoat Republican prosecutor got him - Libby's a$$ is in his briefcase. :rofl
2) Bush can't pardon him while Fitzgerald is trying to flip him, without committing obstruction of justice, which is what undid Nixon.
3) Fitzgerald will continue his efforts to flip Libby until Bush leaves office. Unless he flips and implicates Cheney, Libby is toast.

Do you think his sentence will be as severe as Bill Clinton's or Sandy Berger's?
My dream is that it would serve as a warning to others about dragging the intelligence community into politics. Our professional intelligence community should be insolated from political in fighting. We rely on their on there unbiased judgment to make our most important decisions. They should fear no retribution for telling truth to power.
LOLI agree when it comes to important cases but the Valerie Plame issue was a joke.........When she was so called outted she was little more then a clerk typist..........
