American exceptionalism.

Cuba has been exporting doctors to third-world countries for years, training them to work with what will be available where they're going. On a budget slightly smaller than the US Navy. Now that's exceptionalism.

There are 2 points I'd like to make about this.
1. Isn't it ironic that Maduro, Venezuela's president, who hates the United States and has blamed us for the troubles they're currently having, watches as the US comes to the rescue of the people that he and his socialist policies have made to suffer.
2. Did you notice that not one time in that MSNBC story, did they ever mention the "S" word? They talked about their economic collapse but never once mentioned that Venezuela is a socialist country, which of course is directly responsible for that collapse.

Socialism is not responsible for that collapse

Said by every socialist after every collapse. Either that or "not true socialism" as if things would be better if YOU were in charge.
If socialism was responsible, every socialist economy would collapse in a similar manner, but they don't. Do you denounce capitalism as a whole when a capitalist country has a poor economy?

Off the top of my head, the German Weimar Republic and the US during the great depression.
