US Marshals find 39 missing children in Georgia in '''Operation Not Forgotten''' | Fox News

A two-week mission to rescue endangered and missing children in Georgia led to the recovery of 39 juveniles and the arrests of nine suspects, the U.S. Marshals Service announced Thursday.

“The message to missing children and their families is that we will never stop looking for you,” Donald Washington, the director of the Marshals Service, said in a statement.

“Operation Not Forgotten” led to the rescue of 26 missing children and the safe location of 13 more, according to authorities.

The nine suspects face a total of 26 charges, including sex offender violations.

I wonder about that last bit, though... how that there be 39 children rescued and only 26 charges? I'm guessing the indictment count will climb.
 
I guess the nine suspects weren't charged for the 13 kids safely located?

The **** does Trump have to do with this? Please don't tell me you think he deserves credit and got mad because jimbo isn't giving it right away. This is not the kind of operation a POTUS would have anything to do with.

This isn't Obama sending in Seal 6 to waste Osama.

"USMS investigators were able to confirm each child's location in person and assure their safety and welfare." <SARC>[What's the big deal here? Why at one child per 40 seconds that's less than 0.23% of the total population and that number is so low that it's statistically insignificant. Since the number is so low, the only logical thing to do is to forget about being inconvenienced and attempting to do anything about the so-called "problem" and let those children that are going to be abducted get abducted so that way the abductions will come to an end sooner and we can all get on with our lives. Besides, those numbers are coming from the government and everyone should instantly discount anything that the government says because the government is saying it and the government always lies. And, on top of that, the numbers are coming from the FBI and evrequnknoz that the FBI is a part of the Deep State Left-wing Liberal Socialist Pinko Commie Plot to overturn the results of the 2016 election.</SARC>[ Right?

The charges were for 9 people, there is no evidence as of yet any other charges will be filed because these kids were not all the victims of a crime. Some where just runaways or missing and vulnerable. Which does not mean any crime was committed. If you have 5 kids and "obduct them or take them out of the rightful custody of the parent who had custody" you will also be charged and if you have broken your probation that will also get you arrested. It may very well be that no more charges are forthcoming and maybe there will be. But we cannot assume that all of these cases/children were involved in illegal/criminal activity.

You might also take note of the fact that 15 (I believe it was without referring back to the original article and it's later developments) of the children weren't "missing" at all - since they were in the custody of their legal custodial parent at a place where their legal custodial parent had the legal right to have them.

The US Marshals deserve all the credit possible for finding (and rescuing) those -39- 15 kids.

  2. the absolute parallelism between the comment about the kids and the line of crap many members of "Claque Trump" regurgitate with respect to COVID-19.
