It is sad that the media made such a big deal out of this. The last thing you want to do after a raid is tell the people you raided whether you were successful or not. These soldiers gave their life to get that information. All for not thanks to our media making most of the information useless. Now that they know we did get a lot of information they will undoubtedly make changes to anything that was being planned. Our media is our military's worst enemy most of the time.

I see so many excuses from, well that is the way it is in business. This is not business.

A man died, do we really know what was retrieved? Do we really know how it affected future missions? Do we really know if sources of support were identified.
Kerist, the mission is about 5 weeks old, if so much was recovered, it was not fully investigated in that short a time.
I am not a Trump fan, but he is negligent in not accepting responsibility for a mission he approved.
He states, he has the best Generals.
IIRC, soldiers at that rank/navy flag rank must be approved by the Senate. So he had SFA to do with their promotions.

For debate sakes...... I volunteered, I went to the sandbox, I served my country.

What Trump did especially during the Vietnam war, is what he did. Does that Automatically make him a horrible human being? Nope... Does that automatically disqualify him as a POTUS? Nope... he made his choice and will have to live with it. As long as he did not commit any crimes. He made his choice.

I cant say I, 100% agreed with my deployments. I could have defected and ran away... But my choice was to follow orders.... That is ON me, does that make me a horrible human being and unqualified....nope.

If Trump can do his JOB as the POTUS. Some how help and make this country better, while taking all the criticism that he is taking now. Then more power to him. The fact that he deferred and did not go to Vietnam does not make him any less than any citizen and or unqualified/unfit to be the POTUS, this is coming from a Vet......I may not agree with his actions... but if he can do a good job as the POTUS then I have absolutely NO reason to judge him.

He is quirky...scummy at times and made some bad decisions... but he has not broken any laws yet, no proof that he has, and his politics seem to have the safety of the citizens in mind.... that is all I can ask for......Now if he !@##$ Up...and does something really bad.... then its time to lay the hammer....and I will be waiting!

No. The people the team was dealing with were terrorists. They generally aren't interested in stuff like travel bans unless that's the way they are moving operatives. We in the free world can only wonder at times what the US now stands for. We look to the US for leadership. While it is not 1 countries responsibility, the US has many allies.
