Yes, sedition and terrorism is against the law and must be proven in a court of law. Joe Biden hasn't even been sworn in yet and you're already convinced that people have already been charged, convicted. The US has been a free country with all citizens having the right to be heard fairly before a judge. Is that tradition about to be changed? I hope not.

We'll see what the judge says to 'they', if a lynch mob doesn't arrive first.

Yes, rioting leftists are so much smarter by wearing masks while destroying small businesses, neighborhoods, murdering, assaulting, attacking the police, and so on. Children need heroes.

Making a lot of excuses for terrorists here. Charges are coming in, and they need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Some folk may be OK with attacks against the Republic and our Democracy, but many others are not quite so sympathetic to domestic terrorists.

MAGA lives are more important.

To them, the policeman merely died trying to prevent the cult from "saving America", he probably got in their way.

You saw a woman crawling through a window on that video? Then you're delusional. Another shows her standing still to one side. She was shot by someone on the other side of the window. You can see the gun pointed in her direction. It is a real tragedy.

That fact is not in dispute, the point seems to be that when a private business is the target (pun intended) of folks serving themselves up some reparations (looting) for alleged ‘systemic racism’ (possibly in another city) that the perps are given free reign to do so (with police assigned to protect city hall or other government structures ‘in case’ they are attacked).

Once the “should government agents take action to stop a crime in progress?” test is changed from “is the act criminal?” to “was the motive possibly justifiable as seen by the MSM?” or “is the target public property?”, then we have a criminal “just us” system rather than than a criminal justice system.

I expect that I will be accused of whataboutism, that important (rich and powerful?) victims could have been harmed in the case of the capital invasion and/or (usually) only property damage results from (most) looting and arson during riots, but the point is the difference in what is seen as a criminal act worthy of police using force (up to and including deadly force) to stop a crime in progress.
