Unvaccinated Students at High School Prom “Numbered” with a Sharpie – Tracked All Night

This is why public schools are socialist ad need to be abolished.
You can't just toss a jumble of words together and expect them to make sense.

You don't think your comment made sense, do you?

Because vaccines have been widely beneficial to human society in the control and elimination of certain diseases. Duh.
I mean public schools that force people.

Force people to be vaccinated? Because they're responsible for the general health of their student body. And preventing the outbreak of already defeated diseases would be part of that.

What "slippery slope"? I know, totalitarianism! Why are conservatives so scared of everything-especially the non-existent?

I suspect that it is because they are afraid that they will not be the ones who get to be in charge so that they can forbid everyone else from doing things that they don't want to do themselves.

With the way the world is today and the Democrats, I would say pretty high. Police are being shot today because of the stink the Dems put on them, a major psychologist says she wants to kill white people. The Democrats have gone streak raving mad, and it is why they want our guns.
Then that's yet another reason for them to get the vaccine. It will prevent infection from Covid and being put into a gas chamber.

Well after reading this if too many people think this way there will definitely end up being a civil war in America eventually.
No! Pandemics like this only happen once every hundred years.

If you disagree with my thinking after reading this shit right here ☝️, then we insurmountable problems in this country. End of story.
I think a lot of the problems we have would be fixed if we implemented my plan. We need to first get this pandemic completely under control. Second, we need to rid the Earth of Trumpism.

That's it.

Pragmatically
If you're gonna tell a lie
and you don't want to be caught

Tell a lie about how you prevented some tragedy
And point to the lack of tragedy as your evidence.

I had a job scaring away the sea-dragons from the cruise ships.
During my entire 20 years at sea, never saw a even a hint of a single sea-dragon.
I was THAT damn good!

Maybe that's why authoritarians use fear of imaginary woes to motivate their followers?
idk

Kinda like when the friggin' liberals suggested tattooing AIDS victims?

If iirc, pandemics are going to be coming more frequently than in the past.

Something about the ease of world-wide travel, the push into previously uninhabited lands, etc.

We should expect another pandemic in our lifetimes,
iirc.

I think there will be outbreaks for sure. The novelty of this one made it particularly damaging. Having Trump as President was the worst case scenario. You would think we would be in a better position to combat any future pandemics from what we learned from this one. I'm still shocked at how poorly the experts handled this one. Leadership was an F, Science was an F. Obviously Trump supporters made this worse than it had to be. Hopefully their numbers dwindle before the next pandemic.

In the past, during periods of contagion, humans have been quick to jump on bandwagons which called for the spreaders of contagion to be isolated.

I am unsure why you feel that people have changed significantly.

There's some of the sentiment you describe atm, sure.
But it only exists until Trumpco's new operative statement achieves saturation.

Trumpco, Trumpco customers, et al HAD been pushing the idea that COVID = flu.
This operative statement led to people doing things they would not have done if they had had a genuine fear of contagion.

Once this operative statement is replaced with the new operative statement that
Trump saved America from DEADLY COVID with the wonderful Trump vaccine!
More people may exhibit more behaviors more inline with historical examples.

Or not.
We'll see.

This is the first I heard of this this sounds creepy. That would lead to so many aids victims suiciding and treated unfairly.

It was the eighties and it was conservatives who wanted to do this sort of thing.

The OP is about HGH SCHOOL kids.....not people over 65
You are the one who mentioned a .00001% fatality rate, I was correcting your bad data.

If the Wuhan Flu did originate in a lab then we are probably going to be controlled by paranoia and viruses for the next 80 years.

Oh for ****'s sake, we may think this was stupid, but it was nothing close to the Nazi's treatment of the Jewish people. Let's try not to immediately jump to hysterics.
Right. Hysterics need to be reserved for instances of insurrection and Russian interference in our elections.

Uh huh. Sure. On an OP that is about high school kids you quote the death rate that includes people over 65 and 80.
Here are the CDC stats.

There are several observations worth noting. First, as we have long known, people of college age and younger are very unlikely to die. The 5-9 and 10-14 age groups are the least likely to die. (Note that an IFR of 0.001% means that one person in that age group will die for every 100,000 infected.) The 0-4 and 15-19 age groups are three times likelier to die than the 5-9 and 10-14 age groups, but the risk is still exceedingly small at 0.003% (or 3 deaths for every 100,000 infected).

There won't be a civil war. There may be a group of hillbillies who attempt another insurrection, but they too will get their asses beat.

So to be clear, 3 deaths out of 100,000 children is acceptable to you.

At what point, or percentage, do you start caring?
